Hello everyone,
I would just like to wish all of you a happy autumn/fall/Høst! It is my absolute favorite time of the year. The trees look so beautiful, the weather is fabulous (I like the cool tempature), and it's the time of year I love to go hiking in the local forests and lakes. Thanks for reading and enjoy this fine time of year!

That's good you're enjoying this fabulous season,and your hair is awesome as always.Too bad I don't live in the U.S anymore to enjoy autumn's cool temperatures and winter's snow.Here in Brazil temperatures are crazy,as one day it's terribly hot(like 40c),and in the next day it's awfully cold and raining.But even though I hate hot,sunny weather,you get used to it after a while,and so does your hair,but I still miss the winter in the U.S,and a fireplace to sit by,eat pizza and play video games with your friends,there's nothing like it.Peace Hegg,and may you have a fabulous journey growing your hair to classic length,which I'm sure will be an ease for you.Cya round =)

Thanks! Yes, the US is lucky enough to have a decent autumn, atleast in the North where I live. Wow, Brazil jumps around on weather, ha, that's neat. Yes, after being in that enviroment for awhile you definitely get used to it and accept it, but that's the best thing to do rather than loath it. Absolutely Hegg. Fall is my favorite season too. It's not too hot/not too cold, the changing colors, hiking, and it's a great time to dig out the atmospheric black metal. Most of all, it's great on the hair as you don't have to deal with humidity much. Happy Autumn to you as well.

Yes, exactly! It's the perfect tempature, I think. Everything about it just puts me at ease. I've got plenty of atmospheric BM in my collection that I break out during this time of the year, and also I think new Darkthrone (FOAD and the new album) fits this season well. I'm glad others share the love I do for this season.

This a wonderful photo, and what a graet mane you are blessed with! I agree about the fall as well, and we have had a beautiful one here in Nova Scotia, with many sunny and crisp days, and low humidity. The colours are reaching their peak right now.

I love Autumn.
But in my country the season is terrible.
We don't have fresh air. it's polluted everywhere, or full of rubbish, or smells of cigarettes. everywhere is built up with ugly apartments and these things.
we don't have woods, or forests, or lakes. the trees don't turn red, and the leaves oxidise very quickly.
Also, it's still hot like in summer (to me). We get a few clouds, but i still can't bear this climate.
I hope you enjoy your autumn. mine is definitely not hike worthy or even nice. it's pathetic :(

I also love this time of the year very much and it looks nice here in Wales (I finally made my way here, as I come from Germany)...I already spent some time in the woods, but there's so much more to explore, not to forget to do a decent hike and to relax.
Hoest! Reminds me of the fabulous band Taake, which releases a new album this year.
Your hair looks great, as I already commented in your 2 year update...it's in best condition and has a nice texture and colour. I try to take some pics of myself for my 3 Year Update in a few days, maybe in a nice autumn-setting.
BTW, I always thought you live in Norway...oops.

Aha! I'm a HUGE fan of Taake. I've recently finished buying the Nattestid - Bejoegrvn - Doedskvad Trilogy... such a great band. I'll hopefully get that new album on LP and CD.
I live in Minnesota, USA. My family's bloodline is from Lillehammer, Norway so I hold that very close to me.

Great photo and your hair is just beyond magnificent. And, what a wonderful natural v shape you have now. This always happens to those that let their hair grow "untouched." Amazing what it can do all by itself.

This is what my own hair looked-like with the natural V-Shape years ago at around the length you currently have Hegg. Quite surprisingly, as it grows longer the V becomes less and less defined and then the bottom takes-on a very pleasing U-Shape.
Oh well..........you'll find out, and I doubt very much that you will be disapointed in the slighest. Hardly. :-)

Awesome hair and great background scenery. I know what you mean as this is my favorite time of year. I'm planning on a weekend in the north woods of Wisconsin in a week to relax and enjoy the season as well as take a few pics.

I agree with everything you said and thanks for sharing your photos......great hair and great autumn colour. I call this time of year "Walter Weather". The desert does not have the beautiful colours (although,I have lots of trees planted on my place) the weather stays comfortable until next July or so.

Take Heggs' word for it. Head North or even "West" and out of that lillypad of a steam-bath oven-roasted humid state. I once heard that even the late great(?) Evil Knevil was afraid to do any stunts there as he hated the heat and was "afraid" of Alligators! Just the thought of them would make him lay sideways during one of his daily knaps. (Yes, Knap. His form of "nap.")
So, just what is the point I am trying to make out of all of this? Woops, just ran out of time. To be continued...........
