Month #17 since my last haircut. Compare to my avatar pic from about a year ago.
I'm finally able to pull a full tail without hairspray and enjoying every bit of eventually becoming a longhair!
Thanks MLHH for the inspiration to keep the scissors away from my hair.

wow Pat thats one awesome mane brother! i was just thinking about ya was gonna ask where ya went actually lol but i still see your growing that badass hair dude , dude im at 19 months and your kicking my ass you have super rate of growth! your hair must grown an inch a month mine only grows about 1/2 inch so by the time you hit the 2 year mark youll have hair to the middle of your back probably!
I've been lurking around for awhile, but would rather update when there was a noticable difference. Amazing the difference from my avatar picture which is almost 1 year old.
Holy cheese,that must be one of the fastest growing hair of all time!And it is in such good condition and has got such a nice,shinning blond color.Good job,Pat.Keep growing that epic hair of yours,and it won't be long till you reach mid back!Take it easy =).
My hair grows about an inch per month in the summer and a little slower in the winter. It is mostly straight with a slight wave mostly towards the ends.

Wwo what a difference a year makes..:-) That's certainly a change and you hair looks amazing and in great condition. Now that you are able to tie it make it will certainly help. Keep it growing.:-)

Being able to tie it back definately helps, especially when I'm at work. It's a great feeling not having to rely on hairspray anymore.
Looks great, Pat. As has been mentioned you've had great growth over the past year, keep it up - what's your goal length?
My goal length is always changing. I originally was going for shoulder length, but the more I grow it out the longer I want it to get. At this point I may go for terminal length which will hopefully be at least waist length.
And even I was surprised how much I looked like Ben. Nice find.

What a fabulous update, and you are blessed with healthy and thick straight hair, the easiest to grow super long, so any length should be achievable for you. Congratulations on the full ponytail too!

Thanks for your comment. I've noticed a slight wave, especially towards the ends. I wouldn't mind having a slight wave to help increase the hair volume a bit.
At this point I'm probably going to go for terminal length.

Hi Pat. You have gotten some amazing progress in a year. Your hair is mostly straight, as I can see, but it has some curls on its ends. Congratulations on a full tail. I have been growing out my hair for 22 months and I still cannot put all my hair in a tail.

I just only recently started getting a little bit of a wave to my hair. Before it was very straight. I'm actualy hoping my hair will develop a bit more wave to it so I have more volume.

For just 17 months you've come quite a long way and being able to tie a full tail also indicates you have exited the awkward stage too:)Looks like its almost time to update the avatar as it really looks dated compared to how you appear now.Whatever you are doing is working well so I wouldn't change a thing my friend.

"Eventually becoming a long hair"?! I would say that you ARE already a long hair! Congratulations, you did awesome progress, just continue with your routine and you'll be fine. It's in good condition and looks superb. I like the colour and texture.
BTW, being able to do a full pony-tail is a huge mile-stone, it makes many thing so much easier (like sports or certain works).

Well, I still use a bit of Spray Gel to flatten out those little "flyaways."

I'm nearly at 16 months and my hair looks NOTHING like that. I can barely, just barely, pull a high ponytail (when the hair's wet and pulled). i love the blond straight hair.
