  cause it seems to be straighter if done this way but just wondering if itll hurt my hair?

    depends how tight you tie it up. since my hair is relatively short, I have to pull it back quite a lot, which is a bit painful as it strains my head backwards. you get used to it!

    I don't think it hurts hair at all to tie it back damp. I do it all the time; it's really the only way I can get it all to look right when I tie it back. I just don't pull it tight, ever. Wet hair is more breakable; remember that.
