Hey all, yesterday i got my hair cut to about chin length after about 3 and a half years of growth. Im not to sad about it because i wanted to regrow it in anyway because of previous damage, but im now worried about the layers at the sides and top. Im just wondering what would be the best haircut to grow from short to long. My hair is now layered so it may grow in uneven. Here are some old pics. Im on the left.
Hi Doob,
From what I saw of you pictures there and in past posts you hair looked in great condition and natural shine and certainly a great head of hair I suppose a picture only shows a likeness and you can't always tell.
It's a great shame that you had to have so much cut but at the end of the day if you happy then fine. Did you not have it all cut to one length to chin length or did the stylist just layer it for you and why did they do that. The best advice is to let it grow and perhaps after a couple of years see how that looks. Perhaps you can post pic post cut and we can advise accordingly.
Cheers,

I would say just let it grow and see how it turns out.
You don't wanna loose more lenght and hair can even out itself over time.
If you do want all the same lenght, wait till you arrived at the lenght you like.
Wow,dude, your hair was so awesome, shiny, silky and had such nice waves =/.I woudn't cut it myself, but now that it is done I would say just regrow it and see how it turns out,it's always nice to see it regrowing to it's old length, and who knows it doesn't go all one length this time.Good luck on the re-growing Doob, and don't cut it this time!Peace out =).
Oh dear,
To be honest there is no magic hair cut to start with you just have to tough it out like so many who've posted here.
That's the key to success, just let it grow.
