I miss the tugging bounce my hair made on my head as I walked when I had it tied in a bun.
What do you like about your hair or what would you miss about it if it were cut??
Keeping it and watching it grow and keeping away from scissors!
Cheers,

I like how it flies all over my face in a windy day,and to headbang my head with some good metal songs.Oh,and the sensation of being not just someone else on the streets, and getting those dirty looks from people I've never seen on my life,it's like I'm tellimg 'em:I'm not part of your f****** small and meaningless world, and I'm not giving in to your will, cause I am proud of what I am,and not you nor anyone will change it.Guess that's most of it,of course, there are many, many things I like about being a longhair, but it would take a long time to write it all in here if I had to =/.
I would miss EVERYTHING, --- even some of the things that occasionally annoy me about long hair. As I said in my reply to you in your other thread below, since I experienced back in 2000 essentially the same thing that it sounds like you are going through right now, I totally understand your need to talk it out.
Back in Y2K, these are the things I remember missing the most after suddenly having cut off my long hair:
1) Seeing the contrast of my blond hair falling across my tan arms (I cut it in summer of that year, and used to work outdoors as a gardener then)
2) Feeling the wind blow my hair all around, especially after my hair had been freshly shampooed and conditioned
3) Being annoyed when my hair fell in my soup (lol)
4) OMG, there are SO many things... Too many to name!!!

People wouldn't know who I am without my hair. It's become my identity and what people know me for. Cutting my hair would be like cutting off a limb.
when i cut mine from about 2 and a half years of growth I missed so much. Just basically the way it felt, and the way i looked wasnt the same
What I like about my hair is that it's there and it's long.
What would I miss? Can't really say as I won't be cutting it and really can't imagine not having it.

Why waste time fretting of something not available to you now??
Get on with your life, stay away from scissors and you will have your length back before you know it.
Good Luck

That's sound advice Walter...:-)
