I've just started to grow my hair longer, about to my shoulders. It's really short now and I use hair spray to keep it from puffing up. I use Paul Mitchell, could that in any way damage my hair?

This should not damage your hair at all, as long as you do not brush your hair through after the hairspray is in it. If you do, then you could make split end and it may be hard to comb through with the hairspray in it. It is better to wash the hairspray out instead of trying to comb or brush it out.
It is finishing spray and I use it everyday (hehe that rhymes). On the back of the bottle it says SD Alcohol 40 (SDA-CA-2877) (Alcohol Denat.) and so on . . . So it does have alcohol but is there enough to dry it up or whatever? And no I dont comb it after I spray.

Is it a "working" spray, or a "finishing" spray. Working sprays are made with the intent purpose of giving a light hold so that the hair can be brushed after applying. You can then spray the hair again to give the finished look a bit more hold. Check the alcohol content. The alcohol is what is really drying to hair. If used on an occasional basis, as opposed to every day, there shouldn't be any problem with damage.
