ddude motivated me.
So, here's a really quick update. Yeah, I need to get a tripod. Quick, set self-timer, quick run to chair, quick! Haha, but it worked out OK, especially after I opened up all the windows and turned on every light in the room. This area is dark even in the afternoon this time of year.
This is closing in on seven years. I think it may actually be closing in on terminal despite the full appearance. At this point, there's no sense in not letting it go terminal anyway, just to see what happens.
Hi Steve,
It is great to get a rare update from you, and you have some of the lonest hair on the hyperboard, right up there with Scott and EdG. Your hair looks so thick, and although you may be fearing terminal length, I am sure there are at least a few more inches for you. Thank you for sharing your inspirational photo.
(Yes, a tripod and camera flash are both very useful!)
Keep it growing,
David
Hi Steve,
Thanks for sharing a very motivational picture and you truely have an amazing length of hair. Keep it growing to terminal and you never know how much longer it may get.
Cheers,
John.B
Cool quick upate, I would say yeah terminal is where you go from here and see where it goes. The closer you get to terminal the slower it seems to grow so your not really sure your there yet.
You think your there but are you really? Too bad there's not a light that goes on to tell us we're at terminal.
Kevin
Its a good thing you do not update often.....I would hate to be this jealous on a regular basis ! HA!
Beautiful Steve and the length is impressive.
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Hi Steve, its great to see an update from you as its very rare indeed:)Your hair has reached such an impressive length as I myself would not complain even if it were terminal. Its funny though as maybe its the lighting but it almost looks as if you have some dreads going on there.I'm sure that's not the case but I did get that impression.
Oh as for the camera,a tripod is a definate must but it also helps if you have a remote controller to activate the camera. That's what I use and it works great!Depending on your camera check to see if they offer it as an accessory.Anyway you still did a nice job with your update as you must be a very fast runner:)Take care my friend.
Mark
It tends to form loose locks that I can easily finger-comb out. From a distance, they do look a bit like dreds. As you suspect, they are not actually dreds. If I wanted I could comb it out and have it look very uniform; but it would naturally re-form the loose locks very quickly. I gave up on uniform looking hair a long time ago.
Hey Steve, superb update...wow! Congrats on your achievement.
Cheers,
Max
Beyond superb! What a fantasic mane you have acquired. Looks as if it is good for at least another 6" or even more. And yes, at this point you might as well see just where terminal will be for you. So glad you shared this update with all of us.
Your hair is gorgeous, Steve. I see it is classic length now. Classic length is excellent for a man 6 feet plus in height. It does look like you are close to terminal length, but you are probably good for another inch or two.
Scott
looks great Steve! :) i hope i least make it to mid back length but idk what my terminal will be yet but hopefully it can reach that point in the next 2 years or so , thats one mane to be proud of congrats!!!
Now that's a pretty amazing shot. I'm doing great for my age, but I'll never be able to do that picture!
Looks good. Hmmm, gotta see if there's a timer function on my camera...

Your reaching great lenght, thanks for sharing this update with us.
Wow Steve, beautiful man, just beautiful. Love those natural highlights too, I have them also.
Great to see an update from you,
~ Dave
You have a mane to envy, Steve. And it's sure to grow at least a little longer. Keep it going to terminal length!
Hey Steve, I can really see the difference in the past couple of years since we met is Silver Spring, MD. I had always hoped my hair would reach that length. All I can see is: good to hear from you, and keep it growin' and flowin'.
