What is that? Is it when your hair will not grow any longer? I hear the term alot on this bored, and it sounds like something out of a horror movie..
i think it is when your hair reaches is maximum length and just stays there. the reason is that hair only grows for a certain amount of time. i think usually from a few years all the way up to a dozen years or more, depending on the person. anyway, once the hair has grown that amount of time, it stops and falls out, and the thing that emits the hair rests a little bit and then starts over again. (obviously, each hair is on its own schedule, so they do not all fall out at once.)
so no matter how strong your hair is and how well you keep it healthy, if your hair is designed to only grow for six years, it will (assuming half a foot a year) fade off and finally be, at the longest part, about three feet. (the terminal length)
Iivill... I knew about that cycle, just didnt know that was called that..
Anagen: Active growth (1/2" or more per mth)
Catagen: Stalled growth, loosening of hair root
Telogen: Hair falls off, ready for new growth
I used to turn on the radio, and I heard:
It stops by itself
Don't never have to cut
'Cause it stops by itself
