I just started noticing something after finally picking up a boars bristle brush and using it for the last couple months.Normally after each use I pull out all the loose hairs that get stuck in the bristles but now I've noticed something else as well.Deep in many of the bristles are whitish fibers which I assume are lint that was extracted from my hair.Actually this is a good thing as these lint fibers usually wind up in the middle of nasty knots in my hair at times. So I see this as a very positive result of using this brush as it also leaves my hair so smooth after each use.I have to thank all you guys who've suggested using this brush as its the best hair care tool I ever purchased.Anyway have a Happy Thanksgiving to all our US longhairs and a Happy Thursday to all our international longhairs:)Cheers to all!

I agree, Mark. It's a great investment and always keeps my hair tangle free!
Take care and keep it growin'!

Hi-
Where would one purchase a Boars bristle brush?
I bought mine at a Bed,Bath,& Beyond store. They are quite a large chain so there might be one in your area.

Hi Mark,
I have a boar's bristle brush, too, --- got one from Even for Christmas last year --- and now I can hardly believe I ever lived without it!
My other favorite brush has wooden bristles, which gives my scalp a great massage, helping to stimulation maximum blood flow to the hair roots...
BOTH brushes are now invaluable to my hair-care routine, and I can't imagine being without them now!
Thanks, --- and hope you are doing well in your "neck of the woods!"
