OK, everyone here can potentially have great buns; but, the question is... Do you have HAIRY buns? (LOL)
I do! In this pic, this is what I look like after I let my bun-for-the-day out & loose, after I get home from work. Conversely, whenever I am making a bun at the beginning of my day, I first make a "Tornado" by spiralling my hair around and around and around... As far as I know, I invented this original hairstyle ("The Tornado"). Being originally from the Midwestern US (born & raised in Northern Illinois), and being a big fan of the movie, "The Wizard of Oz", it's only natural that my hair should reflect the land of natural disasters where I came from...
Now that I've lived in my adopted state of California for many years, though (since 1977), I need to come up with a new hairstyle... "The Earthquake?" "The Mudslide?" "The Santa Anna Winds?" "The After-shock?"
But, I degress from the main topic: FUN BUNS!
Buns are great. You look and feel [almost] like a shorthair (in "convenience", at least). During the day: the serious, eye-brow glowering strict school teacher-type; but, at night... the never-ending partying dance-aholic head-banger! Yep, it'a fun to look like Popeye's Olive Oil [with a beard] during daytime, then shake your mane loose after work, hearing those gasps of shock & disbelief as the "real you" unravels before society's terrified eyes...
This pic, BTW, was taken last year by Bill Choisser during one of the times I went over his & Larry's house for an enjoyable visit. My hair is now a full year's growth longer than in this pic (it falls just slightly *below* my belt now), because I've had no trim since Sept. of '07 (other than cutting off individual split ends on my own). I need to take an update pic someday soon; but, be forewarned... I'm a lazy SOB procrastinator-type, --- so, don't expect any such thing terribly "soon! (lol)....
Take care, all, --- and hope everyone has a good week. To anyone who replies: thanks in advance! I'm not always good at replying in a timely manner, because my job takes me a distance away (including away overnight from my home & computer).

Although politically-speaking, I tend to lean very much to the left; in this pic, in order to show you how my bun looks from the left side, I had to lean my head way to the right (but, no worries, as it was only for a moment, & I still voted for Obama!)...

Here is a bun shot from the opposite side of my head (insert blonde joke of your choice here...).... I think my bun looks a whole heck of a lot better than Popeye's girlfriend, Olive Oil's puny little bun, don't you?? (And for Heaven's sake, no need to be honest in your replies, folks: LIE if you have to, --- just tell me it looks hands-down AWESOME, best hairy buns you've ever seen - lol!!)

I always love reading your posts, Ken. You have a great sense of humor...and fantastic hairy buns! :-)
I really have to work on those things, they look downright useful.

You want me to LIE?
Why Ken you don't look a day over 23.
Nice hairy buns! That's no lie.

Hey, Urban Cowboy. We must also remind our friends in colder climates not to let their buns freeze! Keep it growin' and flowin'.
