Hey all...
Well... not much to say other than I should've never cut my hair. I was at 25 months.. Now, it's really really short.
But, looking on the positive side.. (Thanks Ken for the encouragement).. I'll begin yet again..
I was surprised to see James also cut his hair. - Must've been something in the Colorado water this summer! (grin).
Well, in all seriousness now... Let's do this the right way this time..
Thanks guys ... and a few gals... for the support.
Tristan
Well......second times a charm, or is that the third? Lets not go for a third cutting it off once was enough eh?
Oh and as they say "Don't drink the water".
Kevin
Yes, wise words from our Prez!Well we all make mistakes so the best way to deal with that is to take corrective action. In this case just don't go to barber shops and drink bottled water:)You look well Tristan my friend.Cheers.
Mark
AMEN!
Bet the head is cold now huh, In Canada once the cold weather hits hair cuts get to be a little longer between visits, we like the insulation value. Unfortunately in April their seems to be a switch and hair drops everywhere. Keep growing the hair looked good lasttime.
Your hair will be back before you know it. No worries. Better than ever before.
Cool picture too. Looks like a Gap or A&F photo shoot! Except for the Columbia jacket of course, haha.
Hey Tristan,
I personally enjoy growing my hair after a cut. A few years ago I did that very thing after I reached terminal length. I think the process of growing back out is a fun part...that's just me. It's fun hitting milestones, etc., and to eventually re-reach (is that even a word) longhairdom!
Take care, good luck, and keep it growin'!
Brett
Growing My Hair Out...Again! Progress Pics
Sure the journey is great and reaching new milestones is very satisfying.
However reaching maximum length and maintaining it is even better:)
Mark
glad to see ya back Tristan, its all good brother the first time i grew my hair long i cut it all off and started over but now it made me stronger and want long hair even more thats the lesson i learned! and your def one of the inspirations for me for sure dude keep it growing and aewsome picture with snow thats awesome! wish we could get some in the southeast! lol
It likely was something in the water. =)
At any rate, you'll likely do fine growing it out this time. I know I will... See you around, Tristan. I'm heading back to Colorado on the 24th. It'll definitely be nice to be home for a bit.
-James
We all do daft things Tristan, good to hear from you again, and good luck with the hair growth.
Cheers Dave
Tristan, that is one very cool pic of you (and you can't even tell that your hair is, "very very short" because you're wearing a hat)!!
And, it also looks like: you're growing a little facial hair, as well as head hair with it this time, perhaps? You look positively "dashing!" Nothing gets past me, you know (LOL)....
OK, I'm supposed to be lurking around here, instead of replying and posting like I have been this last week... Back to the SF Urban Jungle... I hear the faint drift of some great C&W Swing tunes calling to me in the distance... "Get off the damn internet, and get thee to work ASAP so you can go out boogie-ing tonight!"
- Ken
Well, I already knew not to drink the kool aid...I'll just add Colorado water to that list. ;-)
Good luck with your new journey, and at least this time you have a better idea of what to expect.
Mouse
!?
Is that *you*?? It's not just the hair--you look like a completely different person from the one in your old Hair Of Power photo. Well, anyway, best of luck on the way back up (or maybe I should say "down", since that's the way hair grows after all)! :-)

Hey!
Thanks to everyone that posted their encouragements below. My objective is to be a better supporter of everyone here, and to be more involved than I have the past year..
Be Blessed..
Tristan
I think growing to long hair, cutting it short, then wanting it long again, just proves that you really are a longhair at heart. I suppose it's a test that some of us have to go though. I cut mine in 2000 and immediately desired to be longhaired again.
Good luck on your journey back!
Bruce
Good luck with your journey, good thing hair grows back :)
Hey Tristan, that's a great pic of you...you look good with or without long hair. But it's nice to hear that you are going to try again. Keep us apprised.
Cheers,
Max
Hi Tristan,
My apologies for the extremely late reply, since I have been on the road for several days.
Try not to feel too bad, since I am sure that most of us makes decisions that they regret later. (I also had long hair in the past, which I cut in 1999, and only started growing it again in early 2004, when I realized that short hair was not for me) The good thing is that I won't make the same mistake twice!
You can be assured of all of our support as you grow your hair long again!
Take care,
David
