Hi All-
Figured I would send in a pic of my hair at 3 months. Hair growth is from a shaved head and it is growing in well and thick. Hopefully by July it will have substantial length. Thanks to all for inspiration on this fun journey.

I want it long enought to pull back in a tail. Kinda like Bono had in U2 Joshua tree or Highlander in TV series. How long you think that will take judging on the 3 month growth?
I would say you have atleast 17 more months to go in order to complete a full on pony tail. Around 13 months for a semi-tail, where the bangs won't quite fit in the tie yet.
Lookin good!! Be prepared for the awkward stage and keep it growin.

Hey, that's not bad for 3 months from a shaved head! im at about the same point in time (started with an inch, though). Any goals in mind?

From a shaved head to a tail, freaking awesome. I bet it'll be less maintenance that shaving your head every morning!

You're coming along. It's good to be all excited, I remember when I started I was all excited when it covered my eyes. lol. Now I'm in University and my locks have gained me quite the notoriety. Keep 'er growing!
I wish you a happy journey and hope the awkward stage isn't too horrible for you. Start thinking about hats and other head coverings or ways you think you can manage to keep things tolerable.

We all have to start somewhere. It's a bit difficult to tell what kind of hair you have (wavy, straight, etc.), but just keep it growing and you'll be well on your way. Best of luck! =)
