Here are two update pics of my hair. I had just got my sword in the mail so I decided to take a picture with it, plus I liked the way my hair looked in the pic. If you're wondering, it's the Father Sword from Conan. If you recall from my Halloween pics, I'm a huge Conan fan. As for the first pic, don't know why I look so angry. Haha.
I wouldn't call that face angry. I'd call it BADASS! just like your hair!
Looks great Garth! Sword too! Good luck on your finals. take care!!
Awesome hair man. What is the steel of the sword? And is it tempered? It's sure sweet lookin!!
According to its description "The handle is leather wrapped and is embraced with a cast steel pommel and hilt. The guard is also cast out of steel pommel" You might know what that means, but I have no idea. I just know it looks cool.
You remind me of the wrestler Chris Jericho.
Chris Jericho had awesome hair. Why, oh why, did he have to cut it?
And what a magnificent sword that is. Looks great! :-)
Hi Garth. Your hair is coming along great.
Matthew aka Regardless
That sword kicks ass! Awesome hair, Garth. Keep it growing, man! =)
-James
Great hair, sword, and T-shirt dude!
Peace..
Tristan
Hi Garth!
Wow.. your hair looks fantastic and that warrior sword is very cool:)I think all that makes up more than enough for your grumpy look in the first pic.LOL.I do remember your Halloween pics and you make a great Conan.Don't you wish you could dress that way everyday.Anyway awesome mane my friend and hopefully you are going for much more:)Oh, btw I'd lock up those ink cartridges as thats big bucks sitting there for the taking.LOL.Cheers!!!!!
Mark
Awesome sword ... and awesome mane. I too remember your Halloween photos and agree that you really fit the part of Conan. I agree with Mark too, it would be great to be able to dress in barbarian garb everday.
Karsten
Hey Garth,
Kick ass mane. You've got an awesome length so far and your hair is looking quite healthy. Keep it up. Oh, by the way, nice Iron Maiden shirt. The sword looks great, too!
Man, your hair looks fantastic-you must be quite proud of it. Keep it growing. Can't wait to see the next progress pictures!
I like the sword picture.
Cheers,
Tony
Garth;
Good to hear from you again.....your hair looks great and the Father Sword is really impressive.....I suspect the angry look must come from the bill! HA!....a bit spendy? Was it?
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Excellent hair! And the sword too, I like it. I've always liked the Conan movies too. Dino DeLaurentiis did a good job with them.
Hi Garth,
What an outstanding update, and you have come such a long ways in 39 months! That is a really cool sword as well!
Keep it growing,
David
Long hair really suits you =) it looks great!
Great looking mane there Garth, and man, what a sword!
Frank
Nice hair! Nice sword, too. I have a big sword similar to that, a katana (Japanese sword), and a Marine NCO sword.
Garth, Not angry but in charge within a ruthless realm!
Awesome blond locks dude!
Looking good, I've never noticed it before but do you use gel to keep it in this style?
Nope, it dries like this after I take a shower.
Your hair look cool bro ! and I really liked the metal style combined with the fantasy look soo great !
Looking great my man, love that warrior look, great t-shirt too!
~ Dave
Just flawless,Garth, both the hair and the sword! You are perfectly able to pull off the conan look at your will.Take care and keep that awesome, shiny, health mane growing!
Hey Garth, your hair is looking superior. And that sword shot is way cool. You are definitely a source of motivation for me...hope my hair looks half that great at 39 months...got 9 months to go. Great update! Be careful with the sword. :-)
Cheers,
Max
Hi Garth,
A great update and the hair is coming along great and a good choice of t-shirt and a great band.
I like the sword and certainly makes a great picture. You certainly our own Conan of the board.
Happy holidays mate,
Cheers,
John.
Fantastic long hair Garth, in great condition!
Awesome sword, it must weigh a ton!
Bruce
Hey Garth,
Conan freaking rules!!!
This was on the cover of Conan the Adventurer, I think, back when I was in school in the 70's. You may have seen it already.
It was painted by the extraordinary fantasy artist Frank Frazetta. It's called "The Barbarian", Ace books had the copyright to "Conan" so the wouldn't let him put that in the title.
Either L. Sprague De Camp or Lin Carter finished the story starting by Robert E. Howard and commented the "Conan needed a haircut". LOL,toughest looking bangs I've ever seen.
Love the sword, I have a collection also. Great hair!!!
Paul
Thanks. That is awesome artwork. Few people pull off bangs, but Conan makes them look so badass.
Still looking good and great length.
Merry Kwanzaa
Kevin
Could that sword cut somones arm off if you sharpened it or is it just for show? :p
It's pretty dull, but if I sharpened it, it probably could hack someone up.
Cool update Garth, you have one of the most impressive (& metal) manes on the board. It always looks great and you have some great length. I'm hoping that by summer mine is at the same length. Your hair always looks awesome man. The sword si killer too. Do you collect?
Thanks. This is my first sword, but I can see myself collecting a lot more. One just looks so lonely.
Haha that's exactly what happened with me and I have like 7 now.
Looking great Garth - You pull the Conan look well!
- Oren

Your hair looks fantastic, Garth. You have one of the best manes here. Just lovely. Seeing what you have after only 39 months, it should easily grow well past your waist.
Scott
Hey, Garth. I really admire your long, straight hair. It looks like you're ready to be cast in a new Conan movie. Keep it growin' and flowin'.
TLH
very awesome hair Garth! its gotten super long and badass shirt Iron Maiden rules brother! \m/ keep it growing and metal :)
Hey Garth check this out.
This is my little collection of swords, axes and knives. I want to add some more from "Lord of the Rings" but things are tight right now.
I bought most of these from China Bazaar in Gatlinburg Tenn. and a lot from the local flee market. I also bought the Excalibur, the Star Trek Klingon "batlif" (is that how you spell it?) and three others from an ex-employee for 20 bucks.
Don't you dare cut that hair!
Paul
WOW! That is freaking awesome. I'm envious. I feel like collecting swords is habit forming, once you get one you just want another and another until your whole room is full of swords.
