As best I recall, there were some members from Germany on the board, as well as others much more familiar with the language than I. I'm trying to recall how to say "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" in German from my language courses in high school many years ago. Any help out there?
Thanks,
Jim
I may be a tad rusty, but from what I remember...
"Frohe Weihnachten und alles gute zum neuen Jahr!"
Somebody feel free to correct that. LOL! =)

Very good, James! seems your vacation in Germany was worth it ;-)
I would say:
"Frohe Weihnachten und ein gutes neues Jahr!"
That is, of course, what I wish to you and all members on the board.
best regards
L.
Hi Jim,
That sounds about right and I had a friend from German last weekend and I forgot sat that. Oh well I wish my German was better!
Prettige Kerstdagen en een Gelukkig Nieuwjaar.
That sound familiar :)
Dit zijn Nederlandse!

Google has a translater why not just pop it in and see what comes out.

I get "Frohe Weihnachten" for Merry Christmas
It's really simple, even a monkey could do it.
