Hi everyone.Since its been a mellow weekend I decided to throw together two final update pics for the year.The first is a profile shot and the second will be from the back.I was thinking that I should do the same at the end of 2009 and hopefully my hair will be below my butt:)Since I'm giving Biotin a try maybe that will happen.Anyway here goes...........
You know its kind of cold out so I put jeans on for the back shot.I keep hoping summer will get here:)
Mark, your mane looks fantastic ... I love, love, love how it looks when worn loose in the back. Keep it growing and perhaps someday we'll be able to meet up and take some "hair fun" photos together.

Hey,I'd surely like to meet up with the legend of artistic longhair pics and to think we could do a "hair fun" one together:)Now that probably would be a first.Might have to wait for warmer weather for an outdoor one as its been mighty cold lately.Also I'm with you on the loose longhair look.Ponytails for me are only for convenience and not so much vanity.Problem is going outdoors with loose hair invites tangles which is unfortunate.However a guy wearing his hair loose just speaks for itself:)Yippie!Have a great holiday Karsten and thanks for your comments.Cheers

Matthew, my friend, if I were to go back to the very beginning I'd have to say 1982.Now of course there have been cuts and trims along the way and heavens to Betsy even a perm.LOL.But I'd say it wasn't until 1999 that I decided I wanted very very long hair and even from that point I've had minor trims of around 1/4 inches each time.So that's the short summary and hope it answers your question.Cheers

Nice update,Mark,your hair is marvelous,in really good shape and with a nice blending,shiny color.Differently from you,I'm wishing for winter to come down here in this dead hot place as soon as possible,though I'm not sure if this will ever happen,as it is a tropical country and winter is turning into legend XD.Take care,my friend =).

Thanks for your comments as I'm hoping to eek out a bit more length.As for the winter thing,well I guess if you don't have it then it can be a novelty should you experience the season.However I don't mind some winter season but sometimes it gets to be a bit too much of a good thing.Cheers my friend

What a fantastic update, and your hair looks great, and is still growing! Hopefully, with the help of the biotin, you should be able to achieve several more inches of growth! My dream is to grow my hair as long as yours some day. Also, I would like to wish you a very Happy holiday season!

Awesome update Mark! Hair looks as good as always and you've achieved some great length. The biotin may help, I've been taking it for almost a year and it definately helps with the quality of the hair and may therefore help with preventing splitends and breakage. How did you hold up with the nutty weather over the weekend?

Hi Phil and thank you for your response.Using the Biotin will hopefully keep my hair nice as I get older and if it promotes more growth all the better:)I never tried products before specifically to help my hair other than conditioners and such.
As for the weather its been something.I though I'd escape some of the snow by venturing to the Freehold Mall Saturday which paid off as there was none there but man was it a madhouse!It took my nearly a half hour just to get through the gridlock to leave the parking lot.Merry Christmas!HA!LOL.Have a great Christmas Phil as you are a great guy and an asset to the mlhh:)

Thanks for your comments and I have to admit after looking at my posted pics I thought it must be someone else.I suppose you never see yourself like that unless its from a pic and even I was impressed by the length.I mean could that really be me?LOL.
Other than that as you know the chill is in the air back east but after looking at Justin's pics I know I'm not alone!Hey you know....Share The Wealth!LOL.Fortunately its supposed to get near 50 by mid to late week.I'll believe that when I feel it.BTW, just so you don't get lonely on the 25th I'll make it a point to drop you a line.Cheers

Hey Mark, yeah, you got some real length goin on there! Hope I can get close to that someday.
I will be around most of the day on the 25th, might walk into town and have a scotch or two and then walk home. Don't drink much but I do like a scotch now and then...and since I'm a lightweight...if I have two, then I will be somewhat buzzed...not altogether bad every now and again. Thanks for the note.

Hi Mark, I hope the biotin works for you. I started taking it during the severe summer shed that I had. I lost about 15% of my hair from that. To save money, I bought the 5000 mcg capsules. I empty the capsules and divde them up into about 10 roughly equal doses. That is still 167% RDA for biotin.
I am posting that profile image, cropped a bit, with a reference mark on it to show where your hair is right now. Save it for future reference. In 6 months take another similar profile image and wearing the same shorts to compare. As you can see, your hair now reaches the bottom 1/3 of your belt loop. It should be interesting to compare the 2 by early summer. Good luck.

Hey that's a great thing you did by setting the bar, so to speak,and using the same image for future reference to compare against.So I did save your revised pic and dated it so in the year ahead I will for sure be able to see if my hair is still growing.Hopefully with the help of the Biotin maybe it'll happen.Stay tuned my friend:)
