Hey guys
Before the next power-outage, blown transformers, collision for the "few" cars still able to drive, downed trees and wires, collapse of a porch etc., I wish you all a great Holiday Season as well as a Happy and healthy New Year 2009.
Ah...........this "warming" has been going on for over a week with no signs of stopping........well, it rather seems to have stopped about everything dead in its tracks as of now. But really, tis the season to stop, reflect, ponder and remember "loved-ones" at this time despite the fact that in my area it appeareth that we shall all be burried alive in the festivities which abound so brightly even in the dark without power as we huddle inside freezing to the lovely strains of trees cracking and tumbling to the ground with sirens wailing in the background as the perfect accompaniment during this most joyous season.
My best to you all for a great Christmas, or if not that, whatever your belief may or may not be. In other words, be happy. And keep that hair growing! :-)
Justin~
Your snow pix remind me of DC. While snow there isn't "rare", it's iffy from year-to-year if there's actually going to be anything interesting. A foot (30 cm) or more of snow in one storm is rare. I can count the number of times that happened in my 38 years there on one hand.
Once, that happened and there just happened to be a woman who had recently moved from Minessota. She still had her dog sled, so she hitched up her two huskies and took them out. It was something I never thougth I'd see there.
Of course, in DC such snows usually melt in a few days. The ocean moderates winters there somewhat; but unfortunately it doesn't moderate Summers.
Hey, Steve. The day after I met you and fellow long hairs in the D.C. area, there was a snow and ice storm. It delayed my flight back to San Antonio and stranded me for two days in Memphis. Thank God for Elvis and Beale Street!
Happy holidays. I'm extremely jealous of your hair now, Steve.

Greetings Justin:
Beautifully stated holiday wish...and the same to you...and everyone out there...whatever your beliefs may be or not...
I hope the weather around there moderates soon...can't believe how much snow you've had there...you might as well be in the northeast! Wow!
Hope you have a great holiday and prosperous, in every way, 2009.
Cheers,
Max
Hey, Justin. Just stay warm! MC & HNY! Keep it growin' and flowin'.
