Hi everyone.
Are any of you guys having a white Christmas this year?
Here in Seattle, we are this year, and we have like nine inches to a foot of snow on the ground, and snow is still falling from the sky.
Historically, we only have a white Christmas in Seattle like seven percent of the time. Going back in time, last Christmas (2007), snow did fall, but it did not stick much and melted at the end of the day. In 1998, we had a white Christmas Eve, but the snow turned to rain later, and any snow was gone by Christmas day. The last true white Christmas in Seattle was in 1990.
Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone.

We have about 14" on the ground here in Eastern Oregon. Snow is predicted for today but I haven't seen any falling yet. Happy Yule tides to one and all.
Here in Anaheim,CA we have rain in the forcast but not snow! We've been getting some off and on and even had a little sun for about 20 minutes. The weather service said we are gonna get about a inch and a half but I don't know how much has fallen. I know in Vegas they have been getting snow but I don't know if they got any today.
We've had snow here in South-Western Ontario/Canada since late October. Usually we don't have any snow that stays until Christmas, but this year it's been excessive.

P.S. - I got a new brush, comb, and mirror for XMas. Hope Santa was good to you all as well.
I'm 17, and I remember two green Christmases. (Michigan)
Slightly off topic, my relatives pooled some money to buy me a cymbal. How many of us here are musicians?
I play sax (primarily alto & tenor), a type of Indian drums called tabla, and mediocre guitar (still figuring it out!)
good that u got a cymbal, many of my drummer friends complain about high prices on everything!
merry christmas!
Prices are ridiculous considering how much cash the average working musician has falling out of his pockets.
The world needs more Tabla players =]
Merry Christmas
How many of us here are musicians?
Im 20 and I play Guitar (steel/Nylon) and beat the jesus out of my piano..
How many of us here are musicians?
Yo! :-)
Bass, keys, and guitar--always looking for drummers (long-haired, natch). A ridiculous conglomeration of glam-metal, prog-rock, and a dash of power-pop with an over-the-top "image". Anyone who's interested, drop me a line.

Hey, Matthew. We have had very littly rain this year--probably less that 15 inches when we normally have over 30. I've never seen it so brown here. Last year we had snow flurries in the area. Today it was about 72 degrees. The odds of a white Christmas here is extremely rare.
Anyway, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a LONGHAIR 2009.

Lucky you! here in Florida we had - of course- a WARM christmas! people here are still going to the beach! can ya believe that?!?
anyway, merry christmas dude!
Ferocious wind and rain this morning on the San Francisco peninsula. It sounded like tropical storm force winds. Then around 10:30 AM it was sunny. Now, clouds and showers off and on. It may be possible to see snow on the hills, but I haven't ventured out.
Hi Matthew and Merry Christmas.Hope you got all the cool things you wanted:)As for the white Christmas thing I'd say that yes, we sort of had one this year as the snow from last week is still more or less around in spite of the rains from yesterday. You can see the ground pop though in some spots but there is enough snow to say its still white.Normally we don't have a white Christmas here either but every now and then the timing is right.Hope you are ready for the next event..........NEW YEARS!LOL

Did you know?
Today is only the seventh time that snow had fallen in Seattle on Christmas day in entire recorded history.
The other six occurrences were
-- 1909 with around 2 inches (5 centimeters)
-- 1915 with a trace
-- 1944 with a trace
-- 1965 with 1 inch (2.5 cm)
-- 1990 with 0.8 inch (2 cm)
-- 2007 with 0.9 inch (2.3 cm)
We have a perfect eighty-ninety degrees XMas in Miami, matter of fact I roasted my Xmas pig on shorts and one of those funny Santa hats...
Here in upstate New York, we already had a foot of snow on the ground and received another inch or two today. Everything is white!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays,

No white Christmas here; 75 F and a little rainy and cloudy.
No snow here... Just blue skies, a bit windy, and warmer than average. At any rate, still a merry Christmas. Hope everyone got some great presents! =)

No snow here but it sure rained pretty damn hard. My 03 Ford Ranger has a little trouble driving in really windy and rainy weather but its tougher than it looks.
My long haired friend to the North-
Indeed, I hope you had a great Christmas day and are enjoying the snow. Tis something else again. WOW!
Well, the big sales(?) are on today, but who is going to be able to get to them? Oh well, the prices may be even lower next week at the rate things are going.
Take care-
Justin~
High!
Similar here in Cologne, Germany (the place with Germany's mildest winters) - last White Christmas was in 2001...
See you in Khyberspace!
