I'm chiming in rather late, so I thought I'd start a new thread (since your original one has already moved on down the page so far)....
That braid is INCREDIBLE!!!! It's also proof that there are PLENTY of different ways to wear long hair in various styles and manners.
I also agree with your comment about Oren's amazing beard (as well as his comment about yours!)...
I wish I could say that I enjoyed my own beard whenever I've tried to grow it long; but, so-far I've not found it to look or feel too appealing on me, --- once it gets much past the "shaggy" stage, that is. I'm 100% commited to growing my head hair to as looooooong as possible; but, for me, I guess I've come to terms with the fact that I don't think that a long beard on me quite suits my face (even though I have wished it could)... Anyway, "Different strokes for different folks!" For now, I've just decided to enjoy seeing long beards on others (and making it a point to compliment about it when I'm around and have time to post), --- and then re. myself, simply enjoy looking in the mirror at the *contrast* of my long hair next to my modest-length beard (LOL)....
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks again for posting such a cool pic of that awesome braid, --- and that you should post here more often!!!!

Regarding your beard/hair combo - have you tried one of those goatees that you can let become long? And have you considered a longer mustache? These ideas may not seem appealing but heck, who knows? You are such a great contributor to ideas on mlhh. And - you have gorgeous hair! Best, johnnie
