Just remembering someone posted that they were compelled to severe their locks for a Wedding they had to attend....So I chanced back to My Wife's and My Wedding day 11 years earlier.
Any one else have any memoriable photos?

This is truly one of the GREATEST POSTING EVER since I have been with this board as to WHY getting a haircut is even considered for ANY very special or important event. The photo speaks for itself. Feeble and lame excuses we have heard in the past have just been shot-down as just that. Feeble and lame.
Thank you so much for sharing this very special photo with all of us. PROOF that Longhair is NOTHING to be ashamed of, needed to be hidden,covered-up, disguised, cut-off for a single event and then have to be regrown again only to be severed once again for yet another so-called "important" event. Nonsense! We are SUPPOSE to have long hair as a species.
BRAVO!

Good for you, Bravo. You did not cut it but kept it long for the most important special event of your life. It is really sad that most longhair guys would probably have given in and cut it. Kudos.

Great photo with your long hair and your white tux. Do you still have long hair today?
This comes to remind me, that my dad forced me to get a hair trim for my cousin's wedding last year (a different cousin from the one that got killed just this week). Like your wedding, that wedding was a one time event. If I did not get a trim, my dad would not let me hop on the plane and go to North Carolina for the wedding.
By the way, my sister is getting married this September (woo hoo), and this time, it is right at home in Seattle, and my mom is taking me (and I will not trim my hair for someone else again for those events).

Proof that longhair does look fantastic whether in jeans or at a formal occasion.
Thanks for posting this.

Looks great, Glink!!!
Hi Glink,
Here's one of me and some of my buds at my wedding in May 98.
My wife might have called the wedding off if I had cut my hair! She loves it.

I like that you show us you can go to a formal event and look great with longhair and a Tux. So all these people who need to cut their hair for weddings etc need to read your book so to speak.
Great inspiration thanks.

Hi Glinka,
Great picture here and a good picture you posted in your intro.
I am regrowing my hair out again too. I had it pretty long after growing about 2 and 1/2 years and then ended up cutting it all back off.
This time for keeps for us :)
Nice Glinka, further prove that longhair and formal can co-exist.
Bruce
Especially in a tux with long hair. Great pic! Thanks for sharing!
