How many of you longhairs have had long hair for so long that you've really forgotten the "awkward stage"?
I ask because I've had long hair for 25 years now. I really don't remember the bad hair and frustration of the awkward stage. I just remember having the ugly 70s hair!
I ask because a lot of people here ask for advice on the awkward stage, and in most cases, I haven't a clue!
But I can say one thing....KEEP IT GROWIN'!!!!
In the seventies the common style already looked like it was in the awkward stage, so I guess thats why, hehe.
Since my preference has always been to wear my hair in a tail, I just remember getting what I could in the tail, then lots and lots of hairspray!
