Hey guys, sorry I haven't been as active as I would like, I just moved to Athens GA in the beginning of January to attend the University of Georgia and haven't had internet since then, so only can get online when I'm at the campus.
Anyways, my question is this.
Every couple weeks, I wash my hair using only water, no shampoo and no conditioner. I do this for about 4 to 5 days, because I read online that it promotes your scalps natural oils to coat your hair and make it healthy, etc. But when I finally do wash it after the 5 days of just water washing, it seems like a lot of hair is falling out.
One of my friends said it is probably just hair that would have normally fallen out if I had washed my hair. Do any of yall have any experience with this or have any ideas as to if it is natural or if its damaging to my hair?
Thanks,
John-Michael
I don't think you should worry about this,as it happened to me once when I stayed away from showers from three days.As a matter of fact,I am losing a lot of hair presently, but for other reasons.
Hey John Micheal,
I wouldnt worry about it , same thing happens to me and I do the same routine of not shmp/cond for a week and only water wash.
Ya know they say you lose 50 to 100 hairs a day?
when ya shower,it cant be that much? It aint fer me , maybe 10 -20
Dont stress it dude,
Steve
