My long haired friends I present to you.
*drum roll*
Very first update! This is 7 months! Shorter haired pic was in October or November, the longer haired one was just two days ago. Last haircut was August.
That looks about where I am right now. Is your current picture 7 months from this picture? Or is this length sometime during your 7 months?
This picture was taken roughly 5 months ago. It's amazing because it seems my hair never changes but then I look at the pics and you can see the difference is quite apparent.
I know what you mean by thinking it never changes!!! I keep thinking that too, but same here... looking at pictures brings it out. I wonder if we will still feel this way when we can feel the hair at our shoulders?

Congrats on making it past 6 months milestone. Looking good so far. You have hair like I used, mine is a bit less shiny and somewhat more grey in places but similar in color and straightness.

It's really straight hair, easy to manage so so far my awkward stage has been going pretty well.

Hey, that's a cool pic and you should have no problem reaching your goal.Just don't start thinking that you need trims all the time during the awkward stage as that will just set you back.Otherwise welcome to the club:)

Keep up the good work Cameron. Just think in another 7 months your hair would be twice as long again! I'm guessing your first good ponytail will start around the 12 month mark. (clap-clap-clap-of hands!)

Thanks for the encouragement David. Yes, I love that my hair is straight and doesn't grow painfully slow like curly haired folks. People always ask me if I use a straightener, but honestly I don't even know how to use one and don't need to either.
Hey, congrats man! Your hair looks great! My hair just reached the seven month mark too and it's as long as yours is, though it doesn't look like it because of a wavier texture. And yeah, Duncan's words of encouragement are pretty sweet to think about: five more months and we'll be able to (hopefully) start our first pony tails and in only double the time we've put into growing our hair thus far, we'll have hair twice as long as we do now. In other words, you and I are both sort of on the threshold to seriously awesome long hair! Haha, yeah you can tell I'm more than a little pumped at the thought. :D

Yes, the day I can put it in a pony tail will be a really great day! I'll have to mark July on my calender to do my 12 month update, and hopefully it'll be long enough to put in a ponytail.

Thanks! Yes, the girls at my high school love my hair so far. I have all sorts of em come up to me, some I've never talked to in my life, and they start playing with my hair. :) Having longer hair is great, those short haired guys are missing out haha.

Oh well, up until just recently, those girls have really had no choice as all there was was the same old Buzz-Cut clones to look at. Long hair does so much that makes the person have a more "humane" look about them. Just be careful that one doesn't get carried away and pull some of your hair out yet! LOL
