hi guys,
just wondering what you do if you're having a shower but don't want to get your hair wet? mine is very thick and has a tendancy to get very frizzy when exposed to moisture. if i'm showering without actually washing my hair i sometimes use a hairband to keep it back and out of my face, but the back still gets wet, and i end up with the fringe looking stupid when i take the hair band off again!
i don't want to wear a shower cap, but is this the only option!?!?
Is there any particular reason you don't want to wear a shower cap? If the goal is to keep your hair dry while showering, this would seem, to me, an obvious solution.

um.. i don't know, good point. haven't got one i guess!
First, tail it. Then pull the tail up to the top of your head. Use a large claw clip to fasten hair to head. If you have really long hair, you can double or lightly twist/twirl the tail. You aren't caring about neat, you just want to get it above your neck. The plastic claw clips are fairly cheap. (I bought my set of two from a CVS Dollar Days sale for $1) I have two big white ones that I use to clip hair out-of-the way, when I need to. For someone with collar-length or shorter hair, wanting to get it off their neck; putting it up with a barrette(s) will work. No shower caps needed/required.
hi,
thanks but i probably should have explained, i'm re-growing and my hair is only about 7-8 months in, so maybe 4 or 5 inches long max. so can't really put it in a tail!
my question was more about humidity making my hair frizzy/curly really. even if the hair doesn't get wet or splashed on it always gets a little bit less smooth and neat, by merely being exposed to the hot water in the air i guess. but i don't think there's a way i can prevent that is there? at the moment i just add some more coconut oil.
