So I am going to give some background because I am new here. I am Chris, and I of english and danish origin, though sometimes I wish I had my danish side's straight brown hair haha, and the reason I am growing my hair out is because I am in a black metal band and to be frank it isn't grim and kvlt to have shortish hair unless you are Ihsahn. Anyways I am still growin' it out and I thank you guys for your support! In the pic was early October I think. I've come a long way!
I love Black Metal, but if that's the sole reason your growing out your hair, good luck! Hopefully the band stays together for about 4 years to get that good headbanging hair. Also, the length of ones hair has nothing to do with how dark or grim their music is, that all comes from the talent of the musicians writing the music. Think of it this way. If you record your music, are people going to care if your hair is long? No. Either way, good luck with growing it out.
Yeah, the only acceptable black metal haircuts are long hair and shaved head with a goatee. Your hair doesn't look that curly. It will probably straighten out when it gets longer. Just give it some time and most problems will fix themselves.
