Hi guys, i have a problem. Half of my hair's lenght is dry, looks damaged (its not curly nor straight, its just...a mess), and its getting blonde. I dont ever wear it loose anymore. It is way past my shoulders.
In order to get out of the house without looking bad i use a leave in product for rough hair, it works like gel or mouse, but it dryes and disapears a couple hours later.
I already used olive oil before bath and i didnt see any good result.
What should i do?
Is there a way to get it back to normal?
Or do i need to cut half of my hair? The damaged half?
I will not be a longhair anymore, just a guy with a stupid haircut :(.

First, what are you doing as far as hair care goes now? How bad is it? Do you have splits and tangles, etc? Oiling your hair is best after washing, not before. The best leave-in conditioner I've found is just regular hair conditioner reapplied when hair is either dry or wet, not subsequently rinsed out. How long is your hair? A photo perhaps? It might just be that a change in routine and maybe just a slight trim would make all the difference in the world.
My hair is shoulder lenght. Hair care? My hair is very very curly, so i can just comb it when its wet. I dont have splits, the ends of the hair in some parts are extremely dry so i get a lot of tangles. I use an anti-dandruff shampoo, and after that a product by herbal essences for dry and damaged hair.

Hard to tell without a photo. Jojoba oil after showering allways seems to help the frizzyies for me and/or leave in conditioner ( Aussie ) Maybe a trusted hair styliest who can gauge your hair?

I would first like to say I suffer from frizziness as well.What I have found best for me personaly is using a deep condition hair mask,leaving it on for about an hour and rinsing it with cold water,addubg castor oil from the middle down,as well as indian hemp.letting it air dry(never combing it when wet)
and then styling it.
