Been wearing my hair long for a while now, but lately I've been having thinning problems. It could be genetic, but I'm also having problems with my scalp that I think is hurrying it along. My scalp is always itching and burning and always has a very large amount of dry and flaking skin.
So I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what sort of scalp condition I have (if any) and if that is contributing to my hair loss, and how to slow down said hair loss.
You probably wash them too often, or you might be allergic to the shampoo you are using(you might actually be allergic to a lot of them). The burning can also be due to the lack of oil production in the scalp, you might want to start using oil before you shampoo, and change your diet, take in more nuts etc and less of processed sugar.
I agree completely, there will be information on what uve said on the internet, just run a search and start researching, a nutritionalist might be able to give u some advice, too :)
And be careful about ur shampoo/conditioner and how often you use it.
Hi NinjaDuck,
I changed my shampoo routine and it's worked quite well for me. I wash my hair every three days. When I shampoo I use a small amount, about the size of a half-dollar coin, and work only the scalp. I shampoo for about 1 minute and then I rinse with cool water. You may even want to try a dandruff shampoo once in a while. I have had no problems since I started this routine. Hope it helps.
Take care and keep it growin'!
Brett
