Hi y'all,
Only my second post on here so I might be repeating someone elses but...
I have only recently noticed since having long hair that the tables have turned. Normally when I make eye contact with people it is me that looks away quickly and gets embarrassed. But now its the other way round. I keep noticing people staring/looking in my direction and when I make eye contact they look away. It is a welcome change.
I know its a small thing but its a sign of growing confidence (which I have always been short on) that I can now hold eye contact.
It must be because I feel in control of my appearance more than before.
Thoughts?
Exactly.
Hi Jareth,
This happens a lot, I notice a big change in peoples reaction when they're used to seeing me in a tail at work and then suddenly they see me with it down. Some people act like they're nervous to talk to me then. Weird.
It must be some kind of powerful thing. I have no idea what they thinking, I just snicker to myself.
Except when the look is a bad one.
Paul
Hmmm. Perhaps a lot of people think men with long hair look tougher/more intimidating than men with short hair.
