I've worn my hair short for years and decided not to get it cut last fall and to let it grow out.
unfortunately, my hair doesn't grow out in the same way that people with straight hair does which means it starts growing out in different directions.
I personally would like to have it at least shoulder length, but if I cannot get the right look I may have to resort to the dreadful idea of getting it clipped off.
anyone else encountered these problems and what are your suggestions?
Just stick with it dude. I am on my 3rd attempt and have gotten farther this time than ever. Always got frustrated before and got it buzzed off, then regreted in a big way the next day. Use gel, mousse, hairspray, a hat, whatever you have to use to get you through the bad stages. I hopefully am alomst over those. I predict a couple more months, maybe 3 and I should be done. Dont give up man!
You mean the ends flip off to the sides, and upwards at the back? Thats normal man, try using non alcoholic gel to control it. Once it gets longer it will straighten itself out.
