Hey all, i'm new here. My hair isn't new, but i am.
I've had long hair for the last, um, gosh like 10 years. I typically wear the ol' horsey tail, but have recently had my eye on a variation of that. Trouble is, I don't even know what to call it, but i'm hoping someone on here will know!
Basically it's a variation on the binding. Rather than an elastic, 'scrunchie', or a ribbon holding just the clump of hair at the base of the head, the hair is bound into a single solid, um, cluster. Looks sort of like you have a tube sticking out the back of your head. I get the impression this is done using a length of ribbon, but i have no idea how to go about actually tying that ribbon.
I would really appreciate anybody who can give this particular binding a name, or even better some references or info. Thanks!!!
