Hi guys, I'm not a frequent poster but I always read the hyperboard. Now I don't want to be the one that only comes here once in a while to get compliments, without being active on the board, so I apologize if this is what appears.
However, I took this pic some days ago and I thought it was worth sharing with you all.
It's been about five years now since I began consciously growing my hair, after years of awkward phase and layered collar length.
I never had particular goals, I just wanted long hair without setting or thinking about what "long" was for me. Now, inch by inch, it has grown well past my tailbone...and still I have no particular goal, maybe I'll see what's nature's goal for my hair.
Cheers to all, and keep on growing!
Looks great!
I can't say that I really have a goal either...well not until I see a guy with longer hair than I have.
Daniel
Your hair is truly impressive! Congrats on having such fantastic hair.
Hi Ale,
Good to hear from you and thanks for posting an amazing update and you can't say more than that. Just great to see how long your hair as got and do keep it growing and see how long it does great and certainly a great hair farmer if you pardon the phrase.
Well done.
Cheers,
John.B
Hey Ale, good to hear from you, and damn that is an absolutely phenomenal mane you have there, very envious indeed.
Cheers Dave
Alessandro, you sport a stellar example of a fine mane!
Thanks for sharing it with us here,

Great hair. Thanks for posting the pic.
Wow man. Now that is great hair. I hate to do this as most people do not like to be compared, but ya know you look like Noah Wiley.
Keep it growing bro!!!

Hi Ale,
Thank you for sharing your inspirational update with us! Your hair is awesome, and that is great growth for 5 years!
Keep it growing,
David
Greetings Ale, a GREAT shot of you...what a mane you have...truly enviable. I hope to be at that length in another two years or so but I could never have the density that you do. Congrats on your achievement.
Cheers,
Max
A fine mane indeed, Alessandro. It looks just as nice as it did over on the BCBB. As you seem to be nowhere near terminal length, I'd let it grow for a while.
Hi Ale,
What can I add as your mane is tremendous and to imagine you didn't even have to think about it!Way to go,just grow, grow, grow:)Great update my friend.Cheers
Mark
Ale, Awesome long locks and beard. Ain't 5 years grand! Bellissimo!

Your hair looks fantastic, Alessandro. Absolutely gorgeous. Do keep growing it for sure. And please, don't be such a stranger here.
I am amazed at your resemblance to Justin in that photo. (I would post a side by side comparison image, but only with Justin's permission.)
Scott
please feel free Scott to post any photo of me that you wish. If you click on my avater feel free to go in and grab any one you want.
Take care-
Justin~

Everyone has a double, I have heard it said. The two of you look so much alike, it is scary. I am amazed.
Thanks Justin, here is the image of you and Ale side by side. You look very similar.
Scott
Thank you Scott and if there is anything scary it is that elderly one on the left. LOL :-) Ale has the most beautiful long hair and it appears sooooo much more full than my own. (Oh, to have been born in the 1900's rather than the stone age.) But hey, back then EVERYONE had long hair. Sissors had yet to have been invented! LOL :-)
All the best-
Justin~

Hi There Bro grat picture, great hair!
However, don't take this the wrong way but it looks a little scraggily on the ends, just like mine! Other than cutting is there any other way to stop this from happening or fix it....thoughts guys?
Hi Ale,
OUTSTANDING hair there, Ale!!!! I also like your mental outlook and attitude about it all.
When I first grew my own mane out during the '90s, I also didn't have any particular goal at that time, other than, "long" as well. For me though, I guess it took going through the painful experience of cutting it short in Y2K to learn the hard way how to better appreciate long hair, as well as to keep a commitment to myself to never cut it short again, --- especially an impulsive decision to do so, which is what happened in 2000.
Several months ago I was looking at one of the Beard sites (don't remember the name of it right now), and saw your pics there, --- I loved 'em! You have a very playful spirit, including some fun facial expressions goofing around with fellow long-bearded friends of yours... Thanks for showing us the lighter side of life, --- it only makes me happier to see others having fun with their hair (and/or beards), as to me, that's the whole reason for having extra hairiness in the first place!
