Can I wash my hair every second day only with conditioner and using shampoo only 1-2 times a week ? My hair tends to get too dry after washing with shampoo, so It should be better if I wash it only with conditioner, right ?
they have a leave in hair conditioner
I only use Shampoo very rarely, sometimes only once a month or less, so yeah, it's fine. Depends on what kind of hair you have though; it can make straighter or finer hair types look greasy.
Some people use shampoo even less than I do.
Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that I washed my hair ONLY with conditioner last night and...oh my...It looks soo much better now !!! All the puffiness has gone and my hairs feel clean after all ;)...I think everyone with the "puffy hair" problem should try it. For me it worked instantly...
Cheers!
Luben
I'm not a longhair yet but I have the same problem you do. My hair is very thick. I just co washed my hair for the first time. My scalp feels very clean and natural, no dandruff or itch. Hair still feels somewhat dry, but this is only the first time.
You will need to use alot of conditioner to get good coverage. Don't be afraid to let it soak and work it in real good. Conditioner doesn't clean as fast as shampoo, but for me, it works perfect so far. Sorry if I'm being long winded lol!
I say cast off shampoo entirely! I haven't used shampoo for 13 months. I use baking soda diluted in water on my hair to clean it, and then follow up with a rinse of diluted apple cider vinegar. My hair has never been more healthy. I only have to wash once a week with this method (sometimes twice), whereas I'd have to wash almost every day when I used shampoo, and it also made it really frizzy and dry.
It does take some adjusting to get used to the baking soda method though. The hair takes a few weeks to get back to its natural oil production.
