Yupp that's right it's in the list of links at the top. Indeed thanks to Bill for a great article.

Exactly! and so many questions we get here can be answered there.
Needless to say which is why he wrote it.
I think we should encourage are new users regularly to check it out. In addition to answering most of their questions they may learn a lot of other things.
What do you all think?

I agree, Bill has been a leader in the rights of the longhaired guy and his tireless dedication to the cause is to be appreciated. This man deserves a metal for what he has been to this board both online and off.I was honored to have met him last April out in CA and hope to do it again in the future.Cheers all!

Yes! That is one of the greatests thesis ever written and is a "must read" for anyone considering long hair, or for one already that has long hair. Thank you for bringing this to everybodys attention as surely there are many who do not know of this.

Heh, I remember reading that article the day after my last haircut, almost a year ago. I recall reading "Don't cut your hair during the awkward stage" and thinking, 'oops'!
I have seen that page before.

I actually only discovered the Men's Long Hair Hyperboard site through stumbling across Bill Choisser's article "On Being a Longhair" on his website after doing a Google search and clicking on the Useful Links section.
Yep - a trully great and informative read and it helped me make the decision to go down the long hair journey road.

That's basically how I got here too, although I may have chatted with him quite a bit via e-mail before I visited this site.
As a long time lurker--after a while everthing seems the same. Seems we need to live with this simple prayer- "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." Accept what I cannot change--hair color, texture, foibles (wings and unruly curls)MPB, terminal length etc. Change what I can--grow it or cut it color curl or straighten it ( after all women have been doing it for centuries and are not all bald or fried or brillo pads)style, bands, fringe etc. AND the wisdom to know the difference-- we've heard it all before-hair only grows HALF an INCH per month. Not EVERYONE will have perfect hair whether that be straight wavy or curly. EVERYONE will have an awkward stage and everyone will face criticism at least ONCE whether from parents friend, family or strangers...ALTERNATE ENDING and grant me the wisdom to remember where I buried the bodies of all those who pissed me off with their comments about my hair.
