i sujest you all to wattch The New Adventures of Robin Hood on TV. You can see a lot of long haired men, Robin Hood himself has it long, and especially little John, has a long thick mane!
Is that the series where Michael Pread (or is it Praed) plays Robin Hood who subsequently "died" so he could move on to play a shorthair in one of those soap operas (Dallas or Dynasty I don't care)?
I guess Michael wore a long hair wig, since at one time when he fell down, his hair fell all the way back, which wouldn't happen if he were a real long hair.
Jason Connery who played Robin re-incarnated was probably a real long hair but I certainly missed Michael's swordsmanship which was much better than Connery's.
Not to mention how I admired the way Michael's hair (real or otherwise) flayed when he was in a sword fight.

You've probably heard from many others about MP. Michael's hair was real. Connery usually wore short hair but grew it for the part. Michael normally wore his hair long. After Dynasty he had hair extensions for a while as he hair grew in, then kept his hair long till late '91. It was mid-back length while he was doing a play in Dublin that summer...I know it's real, he let me take out his ponytail! Heehee
His hair was real!!! I've checked it really carefully (I mean I read his biography and found out that at this stage of his life he had long hair. Not that I care...) Regards:-)
