Greetings all! Here is the official 3 year update. Hard to believe the time slipped by so fast. Seems like I reached my original goal so from here...who knows. Many thanks for everyones support, encouragement and motivation.

Those words surely mean a lot to me, me being still a bit impatient (though, fortunately, it's already decreasing).
And great mane you have, I especially like how it retained its color. Your beard did not, though :-P

Hey Nikola, thanks for your comments. Yeah, it's very unusual how my beard and chest hair went gray but hardly any on my head...although if you search underneath you will find them. Many people have "accused" me of coloring my hair which I don't...and I have nothing against that. Hmmm...maybe I'll try coloring my beard just for the hell of it!

Hey there Maxie-babes, great to see an update from you and your hair is loooong for sure. It is amazing how time flies by, not so good when you see you're life ebbing away but great when growing one's hair out!! :-))
Anyway looking superb my friend and like Matt I am pleased to see the hat's have been taking a backseat these days as that's a mane to be proud of.

Hey Dave, thank you very much. I agree...I hate to wish my life away while I was hoping for quick passage of time for hair growing reasons...I totally get what you are saying. I recently turned 50 on March 17...so I'm sensitive...at least for the time being...about time issues...oh well.

What an outstanding update, and your hair is so shiny and healthy! You are probably blessed with some of the fastest growing hair on the hyperboard, and that is amazing growth for only 3 years. You should be able to achieve waist length hair very easily!

Hey David, thanks so much for your kind words. I figure my hair grows at the average rate of 1/2 inch per month based on the length currently. I'm hoping that it continues. I have a pretty stubby neck so that might make it look longer than it really is..anyway, thanks again. Hope you and Tammy are doing well.

Hey Mark, hope you are doing well back east. Has spring sprung yet? Thanks for your encouragement over the past couple of years and for your compliments. Yeah, I'm proud of myself that I was able to stick it out. I really would like to get the length towards waist length...but I'm not committing myself just yet. Any added length from here on out is a bonus for me.
I'm headed off to the races in a little while...racing season here in CA started last Saturday...woohoo!

Are you going to maintain it at this length? As you mentioned you're at your initial goal. Also, is it all a blunt length? I'd like to see how long it is in the back...mine's in a V so it's around your length in the front but goes longer in the back...you have about 2 inches on me in the front though hehe. Hair looks fantastic man, and your salt n pepper beard does not make you look old or aged. Lookin good man

Hey Phil, thanks for your good words. My hair is not all a blunt cut although I would like that at some point. Like you it is a natural "V" shape in the back with the longest being in the middle and it is just a bit past mid-back. I'll post a pic of the back in this thread tomorrow so you can see. Woa MAx! that's a whole different perspective, from the front you can't tell that you're really like 4 months of growth away from waist length! Mine is cut/shaped exactly like that in the natural V though you have about 3 inches on me. It looks extremely shiny in this photo. Thanks for posting it man, fantastic hair.

Congratulations Max on your achieving your long-awaited goal. Long Hair suits you well, and you will now be at the stage where you could have some fun playing around with traditional hairstyles in the privacy of your own home! Braids,Buns whatever. My own hair goal is similar to yours that you have just achived - in that the I am aiming for the around the same mid-back length that you have now. Thanks for the hair progress updates over the years Max, they are inspiring to look at. If you choose to keep your hair at the current lenght that cool too or let it grow down to waist just to see how far it can go.
And thanks for the comments on the other thread. Our summer in Oz is over now and my favourite time of the year autumm/winter has arrived! And I am devoting more time to finding my creative spirit and started doing art and music which I think will set me soul free. To be creative I think is to discover your inner god/goddess.
