Always so nice in this part of the country on the West Coast to witness the beautiful colours of Spring. Because of climate, Spring unfolds here as if in slow-motion. But that's ok with us. We get to enjoy it much longer! :-)
Photo of Cherry Trees in blossom which surround the historic park here in town.
The colours are angelic!!! Love it! A beautiful artistic photo. You are lucky to live in such surroundings, I think it helps to unstress:-)
Hey Justin, a beautiful and peaceful photo...a declaration of spring in all it's glory...thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Max
Hi Justin,
Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos, and I cannot get over the deep pink colours of the blossoms! What a wonderful place that you are blessed to call your home. One day, I hope to see these blossoms with my own two eyes.
Spring is MUCH slower to arrive in Nova Scotia, and we only got rid of the last of our snow a few days ago, with a few crocuses giving us our first hint of spring.
Take care,
David
Hi Justin,
Yes, I guess when the blossoms arrive you are pretty much assured winter is over.Maybe a few cold mornings here and there but otherwise getting nicer.I'll have to check the local parks to see if we are getting that same action as we have had some mild days off and on over the last couple weeks.

Justin;
Thanks for sharing that lovely photo....When I was a kid, my Dad always took us to Washington DC to see the Cherry Blossoms...of course that was so long ago, I watched George Washington chopping one of the cherry trees down....HA !
No Cherry Blossoms here, but the desert is in bloom.....
Wow Walter
That is surely beautiful and I love seeing the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Ah-Ha! So NOW I know who that guy with a hat on was watching Washington cut down the Cherry Tree. (But of course, we were all longhairs back then.) LOL :-)
Justin~
Lovely picture Justin and very Spring like there. They do have lovely blossom but a few gusty winds and they shed like anything and the blossom is all over the road. When will they learn to blossom a bit later in Spring when the winds tend to be a less fierce.
Cheers,
John.B
Hey John
We DO every now and then get a gusty wind here and that will make the blossoms fall much faster. Glad you liked the photo. (I really should have taken one earlier in the day.)
Justin~
...and where was the picture taken?
Wow, Justin, neat color there. Up in the North here we haven't reached anything like that... In fact, it snowed again today, heh. Looks like a nice spring you're having so far and are going to have. Hope you're doing well, Justin. :-)

Justin that's a beautiful scene and I wish we were that far along. Today we had 3 to 5 inches of snow forecast although it looks like most of that will miss us. I hope spring comes around here soon or at least by July. Ha!

Oh, to once again experience the joys of spring! Up here in Edmonton I'm still hoping the snow all melts before my exams are done. It's still right around 0 C, and every time some melts, it just snows again! Ce n'est pas desirable . . .

Nice view, and it finally warmed up in the Seattle area. I find spring the most stressful season of the year in general. During the winter, you do get used to the cold a bit, but in spring, we are all tired of the cold of the winter and the weather is still cold. Many events start up in the spring and they tend to be more concentrated than at other times of the year. Part of the reason was that when I was in school, projects and final tests become the norm. Even if everything is the same, my stress levels tend to be higher in the spring than at other times of the year. Soccer is part of it, since we are this time practicing out on muddy grass fields in the cold windchill, and that the regional tournament is only two weeks down the road (rather than early May) and all the way in Seattle rather than close to home.

Winter has come back for one more visit here in Ontario, Canada. This is what it looked like out my window yesterday.
