When in my teens I had very geasy hair. It started to fall out when I turned seventeen, however, and went very dry. It stopped falling out after about six months and went through a couple of falling out phases since then. The hairline's receded a bit at the corners, as you'd expect.
The problem is the dryness though. Even if I don't wash it for days and grime begins to build on the scalp (don't worry, this doesn't happen too often, only when I'm sick etc.) it still doesn't get greasy. It just gets frizzier. I mean real frizzy.
The frizziness is always present unless I use some oil based pomade, and since I'm growing it I need to use more and more of that stuff. But again, it again gets frizzy after a day or two.
Is there any way I can make it less dry and make the individual hairs stick to one-another, like it should be? It would be wonderful if you could do it without using a gel/wax, but I know it'll probably have to be a product of some kind.
Please help. Thanks.
