So it was just the other day, I was waiting for the bus. It was evening, so the temperature was dropping a bit, and I thought I should zip up my jacket...
*zip!* *urk!*
I snagged my hair in my jacket zip. Luckily I was with a couple of my female friends so I got some sympathy. But it was one of those milestones, and it gave me a little buzz, a sort of 'yay, my hair is long!' feeling. Even if it did hurt.
Annoyingly, I don't have any long-haired male friends, so I can't share the story with them. So I just felt like sharing. Oh, and if anyone has other experiences, are there any more milestones like this one I should watch out for?
Yeah, just wait until you have to watch out for your hair when you zip up your pants!!!
Or tie your shoe laces. Or use the toilet.
Hahahah ewwww imagine if your hair was past waist length and it got stuck inside the toilet and you end up sh***ing on your hair lmao

I was gardening in the wind recently and got hair snagged in my dentures !!
Guess that is a "Senior Milestone" ...sigh...
Yikes Walter!
Better yet. Once got my coat snagged IN THE HOUSE and the zipper broke. I was so tired I actually slept all night with it on and had to cut the coat off in the AM! LOL
Take care-
Justin~
ROFL!!! That's a great story, Walter, --- and no worries, as I regularly get a mouthful of hair, thanks to my favorite hairstylist, Mr. Wind!
I'm experiencing more & more "Senior Milestones" myself, too.... "Ain't life grand!!" (LOL)

LMAO while not owning up to any senior moments of my own!
hahaha awesome! there's many more situations to come. I've closed mine in a car door on a windy day, zipped mine, get it caught between my back & chair every time i sit down and lean my head forward...
thanks for sharing!

Oh yeah, definately an awesome milestone. Embarassing along with accidentally chewing the hair while eating and later getting it caught by a backpack in the back. So many god memories, I wonder what will next tug at my roots to tell me I've gotten longer.
Pinched many a hair,

Welcome Jowii. Now that your hair is getting longer, you will want to know where it is always. Be careful around power tools, bun it, tail it, put it under a hat. If you grow it super long, you have to avoid sitting on it, and getting it caught on the seams around doorknobs. (God I hate doorknobs, I swear they were designed just to snag long hair.)
Anyway, when you get a chance, show us a photo of your mane.
Scott
Thanks for the welcome! I posted a month or so ago, with a pic. For a more modern one, I'll add one in a while, when I reach the mighty second year point
Congrats to you, Jowii!! Yes, lots & lots of fun milestones ahead for you....
Here's a few that I've been through: hair falling into my soup; regularly getting it caught under my armpit; too long now to head-bang in the bathroom after showering and shampooing (because my hair will wrap around the shower curtain rod- LOL); and, most recently, getting my hair caught in my belt while trying to put the belt on my pants!

Hi Jowii,
Ha, welcome to the world of longhairdome as that is one of the hazards associated with it.However its a small price to pay for having your hair long in my opinion.Other complaints I would have is that certain materials in jackets release fuzz balls that form the core of knots which drives me crazy.Grrrrr.Usually they are fleece type jackets. One other thing to look out for is getting hair in your mouth when you are eating if its really long.Got to admit it does add texture!LOL.Good luck with your hair and hopefully you find some supportive guys friends who are longhairs as there is safety in numbers my friend.Cheers
Mark
Definitely. Mine tends to push forward alongside my face quite a bit, so I generally end up tying it back while I eat, and then I still get the occasional flyaway in my teeth. Oh well, them's the breaks....
