Hi all!
I've been through quite a big move, from Dublin Ireland to a Greek island. So its been pretty busy. I went through a bit of a crisis with my hair lately(hugh Justin :D)because its changed so much. Its gone really curly and wavy. Running my fingers through my hair would always snag and i freaked. But i got a very experienced lady to study my hair and(deep sigh) it was OK. No split ends no visible damage, if anything just a tad dry. Maybe that's from the weather change sea air and harsher water in the shower.I'm considering maybe getting some spray protection against the sun*, and maybe a weekly hair mask*!!
But for now all is well. I'll post an update pic of hair as soon as i take it after next shower.
But for now here's me and my precious dog enjoying the sun, on our daily walk up the mountain.
Hey Roaming Celt
Glad the move is over and what a nice dog you have.
Perhaps consider this for your hair:
1. Shampoo with Aussie Moist Shampoo.
2. Condition using a combination of Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Mositure treatment and Garnier Fructis Fortifyig Cream Conditioner.
The above just might help you out alot. (I showed these products in a recent long hair video.)
Take care and hope you are having a nice day.
Justin~
Justin i just split my sides watching your video.
Glad to hear back from you. I know moving can be stressful. That sounds like a wonderful move and I hope your very happy in your new home.
A great picture of you both.
Cheers,
John.B
Hey thanks John
Yeah this move took its toll, came with a real dark mood to. Appriciate the well wishes.
Great mane
Hi!
I don't think you need to worry you have cool hair, a cool dog
and cool skinny jeans. Enjoy!
haha do i ever love my skinny jeans...
Thanks :D
Excellent update, Celt! (Great looking dog, too!) The waves/curls look awesome. I'm looking forward to having a similar length in about 2-3 more months, based on my own average rate of growth.
Sláinte!

Hey thanks man!
Look forward to seeing your update as we speak your hairs getting longer:D
My hair used to do the same thing for years and years, but that was back in the days when I was pretty abusive to my hair. What I ended up doing was using some hair gel to help keep it from knoting (worked pretty well for the time that I used it) but now that my hair is long enough I've found that putting it in a pony with multiple hair bands or braiding it works best. It doesn't look like your at that stage yet though, but if it persists you will know what to do when you get to that point.
Anyway, I absolutely love your dog. I've had 2 Rotts in my life and there is just no better bread in my opinion. Growing up I had a huge male, I'm pretty sure he was part horse (or maybe elephant) standing flat footed he could walk up to the kitchen table and just standing normally the bottom of his chin would be about 3 inches (what is that? about 10cm?) above the table top. The people that ran the Rott kennel down the road had never seen a Rott that big, and wanted him for breeding purposes. He just walked up on dad's place one day before he was a year old, so he didn't have any papers or else we would have studded him. Last time that dad was able to pick him up and stand on the scales, he weighed as much as dad did himself, and dad was a big man. (each weighed in at 250 lbs at the time) But he got wider after that so we have no idea what his final weight was. My female that I had later was about the size of yours, but unfortuneatly she let a cat kill her (with the help of a car) I would love to have another one. Nothing but an oversized baby to their family. But to strangers, now that is another matter. :) I just don't currently have the room for one right now.
Daniel
Wow man sounds like you had some cool dogs!
Yeah i love my Rotties will have one my entire life until i'm to old to take the pain of loosing them. There really is no other dog for me. Not saying other breeds are rubbish each to their own, i love animals full stop. Yup my Bitch :D is a beaut shes so friendly to people it shocks them. She so gently never sniffs after another animal and walks in my footsteps anywere i go. But she knows when people aproach me that have ill feelings or can sniff a thief a mile off. I'm glad your a roth man :P
But yeah gel is a no no for me. hate putting any gel in my hair. Feels ugh!! But yeah i can get a good pony and can't wait for a one down my back.
Peace man...
We have a dog that looks a lot like that.
Then i demand you show a pic :D
i do love seeing others peoples Rotties.
Hop 2 it :P
Here's my dog.
Don't think my first reply posted.
anyhoo :D cool dog. But you do know its not a Rothweiler? lol...
I thought you meant you had a Rottie..
No, it's actualy a burmese mountain dog. Yours just reminded me of mine. You have an awesome looking rottie.
AAah nice! Its a great looking dog. Always welcome a pic of a dog.
Wow nice dog!!
Not a rottie though i thought you meant you had a Rothweiler.
Still a coll dog :D
Hi Roaming Celt,
Welcome back to the hyperboard, and congratulations on your move! I am sorry to hear about your recent hair problems, but in my opinion, your curls look thick and healthy. Hopefully, your new hair routine works well for you, and best of luck as you grow it longer!
Take care,
David
Thanks dude always appriciate a compliment.
Looking forward to my journey ahead :D
It is looking good. I am just starting to grow mine out now. It looks like you've got a good bit of length thus far. How long would you like it to get?
Hmm i'd say about past the shoulders above mid back.
I'd be well happy with that.
Thats great. Thats around what I am aiming for too. Have you been able to try out the ponytail or anything yet?
Yup can get all my hair into a pony, thank god.
Ireland to Greece - that Celt has roamed quite some distance!
I hope all is well so far in your new digs.
Nice photo!
