I am now over forty and this is really the first time I have been
able to grow my hair out. I have very fine hair and would like
to do something to at volumn. I thought about a perm would
prefer to not do anything semi pernament. Any ideas on temporary
perms or other ways to add bulk without spending alot of time
or money?
I have midback ponytail. Since my fine hair, I really
want to add something make my ponytail thicker. Thanks.
My hair isn't fine, but thicker, and lower back length. About 1 year ago I decided to get a wave perm - and it really made a difference! My hair feels much thicker, particularly when it is pulled back into a ponytail.
You can also braid it wet, wear the braid for a day, then undo it, brush it out a bit and it will be fuller.
Hope this helps!
Also, I saw your post on guys with earrings. I can see your point - but I do wear them (I live in the Northwest, and it seem the west coast has better culture). I dont post pictures here anymore - too much bizzare email. But if you email above, I could possibly send them direct.
Thanks.

Sure.
1: Your hair has a bias to it. By this I mean that it emerges at an angle from your skin. After you wash it, comb it AGAINST the grain. That is, come it in the opposite direction that it normally lies. For even more volume, add a little hair spray while it is in this position.
2: Braid your hair in small braids while wet. After it dries, you will have considerable volume to your hair. Add mousse before braiding to add staying power.
