Hi there im 20 years old and I am from England and have recently embarked upon the journey to grow my hair for my goal is ultimatly to become mr.mojorisen lol i mean Jim Morrison, this is the longest iv made it ever i reackon il be there in about 9 months hopefully.
Jim Morrison did have a great head of hair and I'm sure that style would suite you well.Just be patient in the early stages and avoid trimming all cost.I salute you on embarking on the longhair journey my friend.Oh yes,welcome to the mlhh:)Cheers

Jim Morrison had a very cool look; but, my guess would be that you'll need to grow it for at least a full year or more in order to have the same length of hair as he had (according to the way I remember him looking like in his most famous pics, at least)...
Then again, why stop there? Like many of us, modest goals are good to start off with. Just don't be surprised, though, if you find out you still wouldn't mind even more length as your hair gradually gets longer and looooonger!

Welcome, Fitz. Be patient, take good care of your hair, and don't let them sell you the "trimming every second month" story, or you would need to grow your hair forever. Believe me, I know.
