Hi again,
some of you may remember me.
I'm a 19 year old german turning 20 growing his brown locks for some years now, caring about it with natural ingredients.
A friend of mine (the same that took the last pic) braided my hair the french way after me having it not washed for at least 5 days. I am at day 9 without wash now and my skin's not scratching or feeling uncomfortable, maybe I'll go without wash for 2 whole weeks. :)
So, here's the pic of the french braid, she did a good job :) (she has also faboulous, red, long hair with over an meter of length).
Hair seems to be very thin here because of volume loss after being without an wash.
Regards
Wow..........a masterpiece!
You must truly be thrilled, and for good reason.
all the best-
Justin~
Great long hair.Itlooks amazing. I really would like to wear mine in a french braid as well. What is your goal length?
Hi,
thank you.
My goal length is the terminal length I can get.
Regards
Hey,now that's what I call a healthy braid!I can't get over how thick it is all through the length.I wish my own hair had that kind of density.Great pic my friend:)Cheers

That french braid is absolutely great. I've been wanting to do that with my hair for quite some time, but I don't have anyone to help me with it. If it's going to get done, I got to do it myself. I have attempted the french braid a number of times, but usually only end up braiding my fingers rather than my hair. :D I'm sure I'll get it figured out eventually, I did however get the single and double braids figured out pretty good over the past year.

caring about it with natural ingredients.
you say natural ingredients... what all does that include?
thanks
I answered that question to Vivien. Please have a look :)

I am absolutely floored by how gorgeous that braid is, Dusk. Going for longer periods without washing works well for you. Hair should only be washed when necessary, and not on a time schedule. You girl friend has superb braiding skills. Your hair does not look thin to me at all. I wish mine was as thick as yours, you are truly blessed. My hair is over a meter in length but not nearly as thick as yours. Do keep growing it for sure. Again, just gorgeous.

Hi Dusk !
A gorgeous braid ! I don't think it's thin at all, on the contrary. How do you care of your hair, please ? (I myself wash my hair once a week)
Bye
Vivien
Hi,
thanks!
By the way, my hair is a lot thicker usually.
I care my hair by using indian amla hair oil on my scalp a few hours before washing. Then I wash with water-filled up shampoo and let it air dry.
Afterwards it gets some care with jojoba oil to protect the ends, sometimes coconut oil, too.
I comb using a wooden comb with wide forks and braid it afterwards.
I comb very softly.
Regards
Amazing hair, Dusk... just awesome.

That is an amazing braid Dusk, just great. I braided mine a month or so ago, but it didn't look anywhere near as good as yours.
Cheers Dave

Dusk,
This picture of your braid is a true inspiration. It's obvious that you know how to take care of your hair, and your friend did an amazing job! I have been observing braids lately and without a doubt this is one of the thickest and finest i've seen. Take care-
Rick
