Here are two more pictures that I accidentally left out on my 29th month update, including the x-rays of the root canal.

Broken teeth and x-rays of root canal
What happened to ur teeth man?
Back in April, I tripped, fell over and landed on my face. My teeth is now fixed and crowned, although a root canal had to be done on one of my broken teeth. The full story is on the main 29th month post, below this post.

Great update Matt, both your hair and your teeth are looking fine.
cheers Dave

Hi Matt,
Thanks for sharing you latest update and you hair is looking amazing as always great to see it growing.
Sorry to hear about you teeth and great to see you them fixed, and I hope it didn't cost a fortune.
Cheers,
John.B
Thanks John. By the way, the total cost for my teeth repair is around 3000 US dollars, 1000 dollars for each crown (2 in all) plus another 1000 dollars for a root canal.
Matthew
Ouch!
Hey Matt, congrats on your 29 months, you hair is looking kickass man...good going. Love those curls.
Stop running around so much...save your teeth. :-) You did a number on that one tooth, must have hurt like hell, but glad you are fixed up.
Cheers,
Max
Hi Max. Thanks for the statement on my hair, but I am a bit swayed by your statement on my teeth. I play soccer, and other sports. The root canal did not hurt. There were only a bit of discomfort when they were pressing down the filling material in my root and a slight burning feeling when they stuck a hot rod to fuse the filling material.
By the way, what does it mean to "do a number on a tooth"?
Matthew
Hey Matt, sorry about my response regarding your running around, I was joking and I did not remember that you played soccer. I did not mean any disrespect, so sorry about that.
"Doing a number on your teeth" is just slang for "wow, you really damaged up your teeth". But, I'm happy that there was no real pain involved and that you are fixed.
Hope you are having a good week and sorry for my lame response earlier.
Cheers,
Max
Hi Matt,
Your hair is looking really great at 29 months as you have to be quite satisfied.Sorry to hear about your fall and the results it had on your teeth as those pics are very descriptive at best.Nothing like a longhair/medical update all rolled up into one my friend:)Cheers and keep those curls growing!
Mark
Thanks Mark. Sometimes, I feel like playing with my curls, and I am often attracted to other European people with curls in their hair. By the way, I went to the dentist four times after the fall.
Matthew
Hi Matt,
What a great update, and you are blessed with a truly outstanding head of thick and healthy curls. You have come such a long ways!
Of course, I am sorry to hear about your broken teeth, but the dentist did a fabulous job with the repair.
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks David. I stop to look at the curls in my hair periodically. As for my teeth, it does not feel as "loose" as it once was right after the root canal.

Hi Matthew, that sure looks painful. I can see in the radiograph that #8 had a root canal treatment. That tooth probably took most of the impact. I see that #7 only needed a crown. Hopefully everything will heal up well with no lasting problems.
Scott
You got it backwards Scott. The teeth were #9 and #10. It is #9 that got a root canal. It was not painful, actually.

You took the photo in a mirror for sure, so left and right are reversed. I did not consider that. Tooth #1 is the upper right 3rd molar. You then count in a circle from that starting point. The densist did a great job on the restorations. You can't even tell any injury occurred.
It is good that you had no pain. Normally such an injury would hurt. A similar injury happened to a friend childhood of mine. A fall broke off #8 and #9 close to the gumline. This happened to him about 40 years ago. The restorations were perfect. You could not tell it had ever happened.

Quite an update there Matt !!
Hair looks great.....I can appreciated what you are going through dental wise....quite a bit of pain both in the chair and the wallet.
Take Care
Walter
Thanks Walter. It was almost pain-free, actually. I only had dull aches during the entire process from breaking my teeth to the root canal, although I had cold sensitivity for the time being. It is expensive, though.
