Hey guys so i convinced my parental units to let me get a boar bristle hair brush, was looking at this one, if you have any suggestions/comments whatever feel free to post, figured id drop by before i made the move.

It's hard to judge the quality of the brush from the pic they provide. Sometimes brushes will have short, stubby bristles and I think you'll want a longer sturdy bristle. I prefer to see and feel. I'm sure a local store may have one. If one there is'nt one you like, then try another. I've seen them at Walmart, CVS, Walgreen's, and others. I bought mine at Stop & Stop but they've changed suppliers and I don't like the one they now carry.

Boar bristles come in different grades. The most expensive are the base of the bristle with a naturally rounded end. The less expensive bristles have cut ends. The rounded ends are gentler on your hair, but that would be more like a $60 brush. If you have problem hair, it might be worth the extra, but with normal hair, it probably doesn't matter.
