It has been a while since I last posted an update. I've been growing now for over 3 years from my last short haircut in April or May of 2005. I took this picture today. It's laundry day! lol! I went running this morning and showered and washed my hair afterward. I didn't use conditioner or combing cream this time, but I usually do. So, this is my hair in its wildest state. I normally tame it with a ponytail and sometimes with a simple two strand rope braid. Keep it growing!

Thanks Vivien! My hair gets rather frizzy after I wash it and let it dry. I normally use frizz control conditioner, but I didn't use it today. Just lazy I guess! On top of all that, I have no air conditioning, so I live with the effects of humidity all the time. Maybe a lot of other people would have given up already? ;)

Thanks Matt! What can I say? I'm a naturally sad person! lol! Actually, I don't like my self portraits when I smile, so this is an improvement. ;)

Hi David. Your hair is coming along nicely. I notice you do have some waves in your hair. My curly hair is approaching your length, and I have been growing mine for 2.5 years.

Thanks for posting that great update pic as your hair looks awesome!My hair gets frizzy too if I don't put anything in it after washing especially since I air dry it as well.I give you credit though by keeping longhair through the summer and not having any air conditioning.Now that's dedication:)We have guys who chop it off for such trivial reasons sometimes but I'm with you, summer heat and humidity and I'll still keep my longhair!Cheers
