Hello everyone! I'm 17 and i recently decided to grow out my hair long. 1 year and a half ago i had short hair,wich i grew for 1 year. I grew a fringe and my back was cut a little shorter than it. Then i decided to drop that hairdo wich i didn't like anymore and decided to grow out. But i noticed on the back,some layers of my hair look weird...should i cut it on the front/sides somehow to fix it or should i just wait to let it grow and see what it does?

Well, your hair looks good, generally. You've got a bit of layering in the back, which I like. I think layering is usually done around to the sides, too, but I don't see it as a big deal. A bit of layering all around can look pretty good as it grows out, but it requires skillful cutting. I think most of the folks on this board just blunt trim it at the bottom, but with your straighter hair and thickness, I think layers would be a good way to go.
Welcome Andrea! I think your hair looks great, I would just leave it alone and let it grow. If in 6 months or a year you want to fiddle around with the layers you'll have enough length to trim up a bit.

Awesome hair, a fringe would look great with it.
Actually i had a fringe but then i decided to separate it in half and part it on the sides,cause i was tired of that look. :) I also trimmed myself the first bangs (of the ex fringe) since they were way too long compared to the rest.
It's hard to explain but I hope i made it clear!
