Cut out matted hair, hair much thinner

  I had a lot of matted hair out, my hair is a lot thinner,
  It still *looks* long but it's difficult to tie back, all I can do
  is push it behind my ears until it grows back.

  Should i start over of just leave it?

    It's hard to picture what your hair might look like now.How about a pic as we can better advise you what course of action should be taken.Still though sorry to hear that your hair got bad enough to be cut like that.

    Without including a pic of yourself, it's difficult for any of us to truly give you good advise in a post like this. One thing is for certain, though: you can prevent this problem from ever reoccurring in the future by simply brushing and/or combing your hair regularly, --- unless of course you're untentionally wanting matted hair!
