Is that true, that biotin makes hair grow faster (3/4 inch or more per month instead of 1/2)?
Thanks.
I didn't find it made my hair growth any faster. I've been using ~ 1800 mcg a day for over a year and my hair growth before I started taking it and now is the same-1/2" a month. I have a rapid matabolism (I eat whatever I want and never gain wait-I'm very active) and I've read from others with slower matabolisms that it speeds up hair growth for them. A medical journal does say that it helps strengthen hair roots, though, and prevent baldness.
Biotin couldn't hurt (your body puts excess in the toilet) and it may help.

You should take gelatin capsules they work better than biotin. They provide a better source of protien.its been working for me.
Is this the joint supplement gel capsule with Condroidin and MSM? What kind and what's the dosage?

Just take a decent multiple vitamin with B-complex . . . Biotin is one of the B vitamins, and I vaguely recall that the B vitamins work together and if you take 'em out of proportion to each other, their effectiveness dwindles. So, just taking biotin by itself won't get ya much. If ya really want to, take a B-complex pill, or better yet, as I mentioned, a multi-vit with B-complex.

It's been working for me!
Cool! How much should I use per day (The Kid says that he uses 1800 mcg a day)? How much do You use?
I'd be interested to know if it helps facial hair growth as well. My head hair is past my shoulders now and easily ties back so I'm not worried about that anymore but my facia
ir is soft, light and slow growing still.
