These are the most recent pictures I have of my overall hair growth, I added some extra pictures so you can see how I wear my hair up, facial hair, piercings, etc.

Cool, great pics Squid, your is looking superb, and the facial hair complements perfectly.
Cheers Dave
Thanks, Dave. The only thing I wish worked with my facial hair, is the moustache joining with the beard, alas I was not gifted that area of growth.
Congrats,your hair look awesome!
So does your facial hair.
How many piercings you have?
And how about tattoos? I can see a piece of one.
Planning to get a couple of tats soon too. ;)
Thanks! I currently have:
-2 cartilage piercings on my left ear (12g)
-both my lobes gauged (7/16g)
-2 tattoos: one on my arm, the other on my chest.
I will post an off-topic to show.
You have great quality hair. It looks like it's all one length which is my preferred way of wearing my hair as well.
Thanks, man. Unfortunately its not exactly one length, my hair does sort of form a ''v'' near the bottom. I was afraid of evening it out, since I would lose some length, so I am waiting till I reach a goal till I even it out.
Your hair is awesome Squid ! Thanks for sharing those pics with us, they are really inspirational !
Anyway how long did it take to grow your hair at that lenght ?
Thanks! Well I had hair this long in highschool, however, I had to cut it for work when I was 18. So since then I cut it short one more time, then just decided I wanted to be a long hair again. So I'd say 2-2 1/2 years.

You have great hair, Mr Squid. You are yet another longhair in a professional position. Are you a teacher? That is my guess from the photo. Keep growing that mane.
Scott
Heh thanks, man. No I'm not currently teaching, although that is a career I would be interested in pursuing. I'm actually majoring in illustration. The picture of me dressed up was for a logo design pitch for some organization from Alden, Michigan.
I don't know how you'll take this, but you look a bit like Tommy Lee here :-D
Sorry.
Lol thanks, and not taking it as a compliment would be a waste.
Hehe, I know ;-)
All great pics but I do like the loose hair ones the best:)There is something to be said when a guy lets his hair down. Thanks for posting your magnificent update my friend.Cheers
Mark
Thanks! Yea, I usually have my hair down, my excuses for the hair-up pics are:
1. I didnt want hair for breakfast
2. I was in a meeting
lol!
Yea,yea I know!LOL.I have to do the same as conditions warrant. It still would be nice to wear it down 24/7:)Well if I hit the lottery then I'll do it!
Mark
Lol if I win the lotto, I'll hire someone to hold my hair for me as I eat.
That it is possible for a longhaired male to maintain a professional presence in the corporate/business world. Securing the hair by neatly pulling it back, or putting it up, creates a neat conservative look. Once you're out of work, you can let it down and allow it to hang free and lose. It's not the business of any employer to know how you dress/groom outside of the workplace. Which brings these lyrics from the 1970's rock classic "Signs" by Five Man Electrical Band
And the sign said,
"Long-haired freaky people
Need not apply."
So I tucked my hair up under my hat
And I went in to ask him why.
He said, "You look like a fine upstandin' young man.
I think you'll do."
So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that.
Ha, me workin' for you."
Screw the conservative/corporate drones and their inane hair constrictions. History has shown that real men have hair "long beautiful hair. Shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen.
Give me down to there, hair, shoulder length or longer." (Hair, lyrics from the musical title track).
Buzz/Crew cuts are NOT natural. As I have said, if God wanted men to have short hair, He would have built it into their systems, and hair would stop growing once it reached a certain short length. It happens elsewhere on the body, so God (and Nature) could have easily programmed the hair genes to not grow beyond a certain point.
BTW, you look great with the loose flowing locks. Glad you have a job that allows you to keep those flowing locks.
Thanks! My roommate used to sing that whenever he saw me, lol. Well, that's not necessarily my job, although it was a legit logo pitch to a company based in Michigan (college assignment).
A mighty fine mane you have!
Looks like you are taking good care of it.
Keep it long and flowing!

Hi. I especially like your third photo down. It shows you have some curls in your sleek black hair.
Matthew
