Sorry for double posting today, but a fellow poster had asked me what kind of piercings and tattoos I had. So I decided to post them up to show everyone. I hope all of you respond with photos of your own.

Don't worry about over posting pics as the more the merrier my friend:)Your piercings and tats looks awesome on you.They compliment your body as much as your longhair does.I wish I could post some of my own pics but I don't have any tats and I only have one piercing in each ear with a boring gold ball.Sorry I'm not too adventurous with the body art but I wouldn't even know what to get.Any suggestions??

Lol hey man. Nothing is boring about a stud! If you want to expand on it however I can suggest possibly stretching your ears. Tattoo-wise my only advice is to try and get something that has meaning to you. Have someone design it for you also, like if you have an idea but dont know how to draw it out, just let me know and I'll do some concepts for you.

Thanks for your suggestions as the stretching of the ears sounds kind of cool and I like what you did on yours.How would you go about stretching your lobes and where would you get inserts for the enlarged holes?
As for a tat I'm open to suggestions so here is a pic of my blank canvass!LOL.Have at it!

Hah, great pic. Didn't know your hair was THAT long. Hmm, for the ears you buy larger gauge sizes, I think standard stud size is 20-18g, the smaller the number the bigger the hole. Ex: size 0 is much bigger than a 10. When you get a bigger size you basically force it in, so that the hole enlarges. Best to go to a parlor for them to explain it. As for a tattoo, dont know what to suggest till you come up with an idea lol.

I don't believe the hyperboard has any posting retrictions as far as double posting, though actually you made a seperate post expanding on an OT subject made in a hair-related post. Occasional OT posts are allowed, as long as they do not detract too much from the main purpose of the board. And you followed standard message board protocol, and labeled the subject with OT. OT stuff is generally fine, as long as you avoid subjects that delve into religious or political discussions, as such threads end up becoming heated and deteriorate quickly into arguments.

Ahhhh... I see. I once had my cat hit the 'enter' key multiple times, sending about 20 duplicates in rapid succession to a thread on the hyperboard. LOL! I immediately emailed the mods and they quickly removed the duplicates. I think they realize that the double posts are a technology problem, it happens. I see this happen on boards all over the intrawebs. Mods either leave them alone, or lock/remove duplicates. Don't worry about it.
I'm not a big fan of piercings and tattoos, but in moderation they can look good on some people. I like the earrings on top of your ears, but the rest is not my thing.
Good thing people are unique and if you like it then that's very good!
If I ever get a tattoo I will think very long about where and what.
The only piercing I like is a an earring which I will maybe get, but still thinking about it don't want to rush things.

As your enclosing photos of yourself and those around you in your posts you are making an effort to become known so and occasional OT post is fine per #19 in the FAQ.
We've had people in the past post almost weekly with some sort of update or thread thus many in the community began to suspect a troll. Like the rules say read the board to get a flavor for it.
In short you'll be fine if you don't over do it. You have two threads back to back now.

I have many peircings, and I like the way they look. I also have a half sleeve tattoo down to about my elbow on my right arm.
To me it can be as expressive as ones hair. I think that people with tattoos and people with piercings sometimes gravitate to longer hair, because generaly there is something creative and empowering about both.
I think your tats are fine, and the piercings are cool. Peircing and tattoos, much like long hair is often ridicules or looked upon in negative light, however if you are strong enough to endure these things, then be who you are.
If you are hurting no one and expressing who you are, then do as you wish.
I was on vacation near Panama City Fl last week.Went to a friends tattoo shop in Dothan Al and got some ink.

I don't have any piercings and tattoos and that may change in the future and do look great on people. The sound of that machine has always made my skin crawl. But each to their own.

Congrats,I like a lot your piercings and tattoos,they're really nice. I currently have 4 ear piercings on my right ear and 3 on my left. Planning to get more,at least 10 holes in each ear. (Normal size,I don't like stretched holes...)
I'm also planning to get a couple of tats when I turn 18 (that'll be in 6 months) My first tattoo will be a small black and white picture of the painting "The Scream" by Edward Munch,with the addiction of a fringe on the eye of the little screaming man. :D
