Like many of us on this board, you have a strong interest in long hair
on men. But we don't try to coerce each other into posting their
photos by calling them liars.
We also don't leave rude responses to legitimate questions.
I'm thinking you are a horny hermit with a modum, who spends his days
trying to find pics of young men with long hair and earrings on the net. When you can't, you become frustrated, and make an arse of yourself by posting mean spirited and provocative messages on this board.
You need to move away from your computer, take a deep breath, go outside, and try to learn to interact with humanity on a more mature level.
No, and you're wrong. I just wish to view truth, not fantasy. To the best of my knowledge, this is not presented, nor intended, as a fantasy board. It's presented as a legitimate "forum" for long hair lovers. I wish that is what it was. It is not. There are ridiculous tales of kids with hair dragging on the floor, men wearing their hair like women (with or without "long dangly earrings"), dumb questions like, "where do I buy a hairbrush," etc. Those illegitimate (in my view) messages clog up what I believe the true meaning of this board is. I hope the guy who runs this board (Victor?) will comment on this and state, again, whether this is a board for fantasizers or a board for people legitimately and truly interested in the subject matter. If it's a fantasy site, fine, just say so and I'll go somewhere else. If it's not a fantasy site, then I wish people with completely unbelieveable stories will stay away. If they do, I'll stop posting messages like this. Finally, all you fantasizers out there, you can claim all you want that I'm wrong and you're telling the truth. Fine, shut me up - post a picture and prove I'm wrong. You know, and I know, that will never happen.

Interesting that the topic is "going outside", because when I go outside I never put a bag over my head. The Internet is no more a public place than the cable car turnaround at Powell and Market,
and I show my face there all the time.
Still, the Internet is a new concept for some people and they have not come to grips with just what it is yet. If they want to stick just a toe into the new waters, that is fine with me.
As to hassling people about photos, with photo editing programs, one can be anything he wants. So why hound people over it?
Hi Bill,
Very true about the cable car terminus. I used to work at Urban Outfitters, just a few steps from the turn-around. I used to see some
of the best long hair on guys, on my walk from Powell/Market, to my apartment on Union St. in North Beach.
However, middle America is, (sadly), NOT San Francisco. I can see why most people are leery about revealing their identities on the web. With the covert nature of the internet, you don't who may be out there, and if you will have to deal with unwanted, and often sexually or otherwise graphic e-mail, (at the least), or downright stalking.
Being if S.F., I'm sure you know about the Haight St. Fair, which could just as well be called the Long Hair Fest.

P.S.
Thanks, Webmaster.
Yeah, PJ, it must be tough for them, living in one of those wild and zany places, instead of nice, calm, conservative San Francisco. ;-) I think I know the place you worked - Urban Outfitters - it's the place with a decor that included a broken front window....
I got stalked once, by a guy on the Muni.... He followed me when I got off, but fortunately I could run up steep hills a lot faster than him. It must be awful to live in a place where this sort of thing happens all the time, instead of once in a decade or so like here. I guess I should have worn a bag over my head on Muni after that, but it's tough to see if you have the right train that way.
YES! There's always a feast to be had for a long hair lover on Haight! It would REALLY be nice if more of it was combed and clean.... :-)
Bill
That's correct. It is not a fantasy board. It is a board for discussions relating to long hair on men. This may or may not include fantasy. There is a thread on the Babes R Us e-mail list that is similar to this one that deals with retouched pictures, fantasy, etc. The general consensus there is one that I would support here: fantasy is fine as long as it is not masquerading as reality. I agree that some of the messages posted here seem fantastic. However, none so far is out of the realm of possibility. In these instances, I think it's appropriate to question the veracity of the post, but not in a hostile manner. A show of hostility in this situation serves no purpose other than to demonstrate the insecurities, weaknesses, and ignorance of the poster. This holds true for life in general as well as to this board. Please note that I am not banning these posts. You may make a fool out of yourself if you wish. Fankly, I find it entertaining. I will, however, remove these posts if I receive a number of complaints or if they are offensive.
Yes, that one was a bit of a stretch.
See attached picture from Edward.
That was NOT the question. The question was where to buy a WOODEN hairbrush. This is not a dumb question.
Your responding to these messages clogs up the board even further. You are defeating your own purpose by responding to them. Proper netiquette dictates that if there is an inappropriate post, it should remain ignored.
The original purpose of this board was to provide a haven for lovers of long hair on men. Historically, another generic hair-related board was used as the medium for conducting these discussions, and every time a post was made regarding long hair on men, the poster was assaulted by someone from the buzz crowd questioning the posters mental security and what not. Not wishing my fellow longhairs to be thus insulted, I started this board. That is the true purpose of this board.
It just happened.
It DID NOT just happen (the picture, that is). The men that claim to have long hair and wear dangling earrings purport to live that way daily, openly, and happily. They do not, to my recollection, claim to be transvestites with clip on costume jewelry. Show me a REAL picture.
Now it seems you are changing your objection. It has been posted here in the past that certain longhaired men would like to dress effeminately, and do on occasion, but that it is difficult due to people's reactions. The picture I posted is a good example of that. Edward sent me quite a few pictures but didn't want his face posted, and so he blacked out the face. I personally don't follow these threads too closely, because I am not interested in cross dressing, roller sets, jewelry, etc. This is just my own preference.
